of the main gate of the stronghold, along the internal embankment. East of the hall there was a pond, in the late Middle Ages called “the Lakę of LubuSa,” as it was recorded in 1549. There used to be a spring in it. It was artificially enlarged to the size of 40 x 70 metres and had solidified shore on which traced of fire places were found. The pond was separated from the rest of the stronghold with an embankment. Along the north-eastem shore there was a large rich burial ground (Śolle, 1966, p. 136-146).
There is aiso a doubtful find in Mikulćice in Moravia. Zdenek Klanica (1985) discovered remains of a wooden object built of vertically arranged pales on the hill called KlaSterisko upon the river Morava, 400 metres from
