GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
REMOVAL
♦ Drain transmission oil. (CJ"2-9)
♦ Drain engine coolant. (C^T512-3)
♦ Remove the kick starter lever and clutch cover. (O^B-3)
♦ Remove the clutch assembly. (CZ/^7-3)
♦ Remove the gearshift lever ®.
Remove the gearshift shaft ® and washer (3).
Remove the pawi lifter .

Remove the gearshift cam driven gear Be caretul Jhat the pins and springs do not fly off.r-%
Remove the gearshift pawls ®, pins ® and springs ®.
