Traces of a Celtic settlement on the lefl-hank plain of the River Vbtula werr represented by a Celtic warrior with his family (PhoL 4). A Roman Icgionary (Phot. 5), now and again embarrassed by the behaviour of „Barbarian” childrcn. sym-bołised coniads between our tenitory and the Roman Empire. A group of Yistula warriors also came to thc cvent and pitched their camp (Phot. 6). They offened to the visitors cercal, cabbage with mush-rooms and lenlils soup. The warriors also had many fights (PhoL 7). The most peaccful group werc salt-makers from Wieliczka, wbo madę salt from brine. Representati ves of other already forgottcn crafts; nrint worker (miinzer) and cooper werc also present. Moreover, there was a show of Celtic dances and thc visitors werc invited to dance. Apart from all this fun and entertainment thc visilors could leam a lot about thc work of an archacologisl and reconstruct ccramic vesselsby them-sclves (Phot. 8). The evenl was a success and we hope that it will be organized rcgularly.
