THROTTLE STOP SCREW

The throttle stop screw determines the fuli close position of the throttle valve and should be adjusted in the following proce-dures.

*    Loosen the throttle stop screw locknut.

*    Adjust the throttle stop screw as follows:

*    Tum in (to raise the throttle valve).

*    Turn out (to lower the throttle valve).

*    With the throttle stop screw held immovable_? tighten the locknut to lock the screw.

NOTĘ:

Opening the throttle valve slightly by adjusting the throttle stop screw may often improve hesitatlon problem due to lack of mix-ture on returning the throttle.

If engine idling is desired, turn in the throttle stop screw to raise the throttle valve in the above procedures.
