Garments will not behave in exactly the same way as the samples.There is morę fabric and there are seams. both factors will a (ter the fulling process. Use your sample resułts as a guide only and check at every stage of the process because fulling is irreversible.
When the garment has fulled connectly. lay it out flat and puli it into shape. straightening the seams. Fulled garments are usualły morę figurę hugging so try it on when it is almost dry. Gently puli the armhole seams so the sleeves sit correctly and arrange the neckband. Puli evenly around the edge of the body and sleeves for the correct length. Remove carefully and lay out fiat to dry.
These three samples were all krutted in stockinette (stocking) stitch over the same number of stitches and rowsThe first one (I) has not been fulled. the second (2) has been fulled the correct amount and the third (3) has been distorted and matted rather than fulled.
