When cutting, the operator pulling on the pulllng handle rnust keep his hand as Iow as posstble to avoid scraping the edge of the glass.
NOTĘ: The wlndscreen may be removed U3ing the FEIH electric knife equipped with blade 079 (aee 3ectlon 50 "GENERAL -Tooling").

The windscreen Is cut out in a clockwlse dlrection and with the preasure of the machinę being varied to suit the force needed to cut.
NOTĘ: It Is very important for the blade to be 3harp. It must be sharpened each time it is used.
CLEAMING THE WINDSCREEN APgRTURE
Using a spatula between 20 and 25 mm wide and 3harpened to form a cutting edge, cut and level the mastic bead so that a thickness of between 0.5 and 1 om of mastio is left on the frame.
NOTĘ: Is la essential to leave this layer of raastic on the Tramę sińce it serves as a key for the new bead.
Remove the remains of raastic and dust from the frame using a compressed air gun.
MOTE: Only use dry air which has no
traces of oil in it.
In generał, no cleanlng or degreasing product nust be appłied to the mastie film.
PREPARING THE NEW WINDSCREEN
Carefully clean the enamelled surface over the ehtire edge of the windscreen.
1. If possible use demineralised water then wlpe off with a clean, dry cloth.
2. Using a degreasing product and the special cloth supplied with the kit.
Apply glas3 primer in a strip approximately 20 mm wide around the edge of the windscreen.
Fit the moulding support, starting at the upper oorners of the windscreen.
Fit the moulding on the support, clipping it in place.
