PREPARING THE SCREEN FRAME

Do not apply it to the film of mastic remaining on the frame. If necessary, recut the applicator with a palr of scissors,
FITTING
See section 50 MGeneral - ConsuiDables”.
Take the triangular section notzle, which forma part of the bonding kit, and recut it aa shown in the diagram below so that it extrudes a fillet llmm high.
Take the cartridge of mastic, pierce its diaphragiu with a screwdriver and screw on the nozzle.
Then pierce the metal capsule at the basa of the cartridge•
Apply the fillet of mastic to the frame, using a compressed air gun.
Smooth down the joint at the enda of the fillet with a spatula.
Holding it with two pairs of suction padB, offer-up the screen parallel with its frame and central. Place the screen on the vehicle and push it into its location until the outer trim is flush with the edge«
NOTĘ: the vehicle must not be driven for at least 3 hours. We strongly recommend that you should use this time to pour water onto the periphery of the screen, on the one hand to detect any leaka and on the other hand because the water accelerates the polymerisation of the mastic.
