I PUNCHED out some smali branches which I then chalked the edges and glued them just under the bow. Over top of the branches I glue a collection of smali blue mini roses and lightly chalked them too.
I MADĘ A similar bow tie for the top of the roof, with a button, rosę and a branch, but added a little something extra, a tag that I stamped with a Magnolia stamp out of the Christmas collection 2008 which reads "Santa is
Corning to town" with a few lyrics in the middle of the stamp, stamped on white cardstock and cut out into a round circle. I then used distress ink and fluid chalk to give it an older antique look. Between the stamp cut out and the outer punched out white card stock,
I placed a coin to give the tag some weight to help keep the lid closed.
The tag is then secured to the bow tie with a bit of gold string ribbon. Now all there is left to do is fili the house with smali candy or other smali goodies and place it in a good spot for everyone to enjoy! Or of course give it out as a nice little gift!
