Delivery Inspection

1 • The following additional points arc now included: Before road test:

Fili windshield washer Container Set the washer jct correctly

Maintenance Service every 5000 km (3000 miles)

2    - The operation:

"lubricate com beoring in distributor* has been reploced by: "Lubricate felt ring in contact breoker bose plotę (1 drop of oil)^w in the case of Bosch distributors.

The VW ignition distributor does not require lubrication.

3    - When carrying out the operations listed ot the point "Check

torsion arm link pins, front wheel beoring play, tie rod ends and toe-in, tighten or odjust if necessary* the steering damper should also be checked for tightness.

4    - The operation 'Check the intoke ond exhaust system for

damage" - initially at 5000 km (3000 miles) - has been included.

The alterations to the Delivery Inspection and Maintenance Service will be included in the new editions of the Senrice Booklets and Instruction Manuals.
