In thc 1770s, Sir Patrick Clemens and Lady Diana Kniglit established the Hellfire Clubs American branch in New York City. Today, the Hellfire Club is a worldwidc organization with branch es in London, Manhattan, Paris. and Hong Kong. Its members include socialites, celebrities, wealthy businessmen, and politicians.
