I really loved the Buy it, Stitch it designs featured in issue 236.1’ve just put the finishing touches to your gorgeous gift bag (below, right). I madę a little pouch for my friends birthday and I thought it was a great idea of yours to put nail polishes in them, I’m so pleased with the end results and I think my friend will love it too. The pouch looks very Cath Kidston-ishl

A personal take

As soon as I received the August 2010 magazine I knew I had to stitch the free ‘home sweet home’ cover kit after Vd finished the latest project I was working on (below). As you can see, Fve madę a few changes to the design to suit my own taste, I hope it will inspire other readers to have a go at alteringcharts for themselves, Shirley Baker, Cornwall

A dog’s life

I love dogs so I couldift help but stitch the lovely cutejack Russell from issue 232 (above). IVe added him to my shopping bag so lie s always out and about with me. Then I cross stitched the lovely Cath Kidston ‘Stanley’ design from issue 243 on the fabric I had left over. 1 madę it into a purse using your making-up ideas and couldn t believe how easy it was to make! Thank you for such a great magazine.
