3.3.15. Therapy for the pronator teres, ulnar head and the pronator quadratus.

Starting Position: P: Supine; elbow flexed approx-imately 90°.

T: Sitting on couch, right side against P's right side.

Grip: T's left hand grips dorsal side of P's forearm just above the wrist. T's right hand stabilizes P's upper arm at the medial side just above the elbow.

Procedurę: Using this grip, T gradually and maximally supinates Ps forearm.

Stimulation of Antagonists: T retains grip. T then asks P to move further in the direction of stretching, and resists that movement to stimulate P’s antagonists.
