Cold, coughs and sore throats
A great remedy is natural honey. the sweetest of healers, mixed with thyme, a wonderful herb with antibacterial properties that has been used for centuries to alleviate the miseries of colds and fiu. Easy to make and delicious to use:
350g/1 cup honey
60g/1/2 cup fresh thyme or 30g/1/*4 cup dried thyme
In a smali saucepan. combine the two ingredients and heat gently over Iow heat for 15 to 20 minutes, being surę not to let the honey boil or scorch. Remove from heat and allow the honey to cool. Strain out the herbs, then bottle the honey and label it. To relieve colds. coughs. and sore throats. take 1 teaspoon of this thyme-infused honey three times a day. You could also add a teaspoon of it to a cup of regular hot tea and sip slowly.
Exfoliating dry skin
After bathing and while still wet give yourself a massage with dry salt. It removes dead skin particles and aids the circulation.

Eyes
Mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt in 570ml/1 pint of water and use the solution to bathe tired eyes.
Eye puffiness
Mix one teaspoon of salt in 570ml/1 pint of hot water and apply pads soaked in the solution on the puffy areas.
Fatigue
Soak relaxed for at least ten minutes in a tub of water into which several handfuls of salt has been placed.
Feet
Soak aching feet in warm water to which a handful of salt has been added. Rinse in cool water.

Becausejuniper promotes circulation and the dissolving of fat. it can be used to effectively treat cellulite. Mix 20 to 30 drops of juniper essential o with 1l0ml/4 oz of olive oil and use to massage areas of the body where cellulite is an issue.
Burn dried juniper needles to cleanse your home of negativity and to promote feelings of relaxation, wellbeing. and positivity.
Invite a friend over for a "salt glow exchange." Ifs nicest to do it outside where you can rinse off the salt and not worry about getting it everywhere.
For best storage. place in a cool area.
230g/2 cups fine sea salt
POOml/M cups grapeseed. apricot or almond oil
20-30 drops essential oil of choice
1. Place salt in a widemouthed jar and cover with grapeseed. apricot. or almond oil. Scent with essential oil.
2. To use. dampen your entire body. Using either your hands or a loofah vigorously but gently massage the salt and oil mixture into the skin. Begin the feet and work upward in a circular motion. Be careful to avoid any scratched or wounded areas. When you have massaged the entire boc rinse with warm water. Finish with a dry-towel rub.
Remove residue and styling product build up from hair: After shampooir rinse your hair with a mixture of 1/2 vinegar 1/2 warm water to remove the build up and get rid of that dullness.
