except the Hamstrings.

Starting Position: P: Supine; left leg stabilized with abelt across his thigh just above the knee; right hip and knee in flexion. T: Standing at P’s right side, facing P's head.

Grip:T’sleft handgrips ventral side of P’s knee. Ts right hand grips P’s thigh from the dorsal/medial side just above the knee. (This will also protect the knee when maximal flexion is painful).

Fig. 66 a. Starting Position.

Procedurę: Using this grip, T gradually and fully flexes at P’s hip.

Stimulationof Antagonists: T reverses grip. T then asks P to move further in the direction of stretching, and resists that movement with left hand to stimulate P’s antagonists.
