EXERCISE. 3
READY POSITION.
Sit upright on a chair, with the hands graśping tne seat. Heels and knees together.
MOVEMENT.
(1) Bend the body forward as close to the knees as poaaible, exhalmg.
(2) Stretoh the body up agam to the ready position, well raising the ehest, inh&ling.
This oompletes the exeroise once.
Musoles chiefly brought into play:-Łrector spinae (i6)f Rectus abdominis (7).
