Card 3

Folded card: winę red 519 (13 x 13 cm) • Fun eyelets: gold and dark red • Gold embroidery thread •

Beads: green • Pale yellow gel pen • Marjoleine’s design paper

Place template 1 on design paper and cut out the outer sections. Stick the template on the card and stick the pieces of design paper on the card through the template. Mark holes for embroidering the thread and the beads. Draw some flower petals. Remove the template from the card and draw backstitches around the edges of the card. Make holes and punch eyelets into the card. Embroiderthe thread and the beads onto the card.

Card 4

Card: 13 x 13 cm • Paper: honey yellow 243 and pine green 339 • Eyelets: orange, green and silver • Marjoleine’s design paper • Text labels cutting sheet • Green gel pen

Stick template 2 on pine green paper. Cut out the

cross, mark the eyelet holes and stick it on the card. Use template i to cut a star out of honey yellow paper using the outer lines. Cut out another star, but one size smaller, from design paper and stick it on the yellow star. Cut out one section and one smali triangle from the same side of the star. Join the two sections together to create a large hole. Mark the eyelet hole. Make the hole and use an eyelet to attach the star to the middle of the card. Cut labels with the numbers i, 2, 3 and 4 out of the cutting sheet. Stick them on the green cross through the star so that if you rotate the star, you can just not see the other numbers. Take a piece of honey yellow paper (11 x 3.2 cm) and use template 2 to emboss lines on it. Cut the word “Nights” out of the text labels cutting sheet and stick the labels on the honey yellow paper. Make holes and punch eyelets into the honey yellow paper. Place the paper on the card and mark the eyelet holes through the eyelets. Draw backstitches on the card and the honey yellow paper. Stick the letters “Birthday” on the card. Make all the other holes and punch eyelets into the card. Use raffia to attach the yellow paper to the card, allowing it to hang freely, Send the card early, so that the recipient can count down the nights 4, 3, 2 and 1.
