I installed it yesterday, and it was working. I dont know what happened. as yesterday in the evening my P3300 was again not fixing. When arriving at home I checked : I had again a 4ko packedEphemeris files instead of the 48k good one.

I reinstalled the CAB and it fixed the problem.

Did anybody met the same issue?

BTW, I owned a Mio A701 before the P3300 that I haven't yet resold. Here is the "SeaSGEE.exe" OuickGPS program from Mio A701.

I tested it and it works well on the P3300. Correct 48k packedEphemeris files are downloaded.

==> Juste copy/paste it in the /Windows folder, then Copy/Paste a shortcut in /windows/Start/programs for convenience.

I will test milesmowbrays CAB the next days. if it works well its the better solution. as SeaSGEE.exe lacks the "Download automatically on ActiveSync connection" option.

Senior Member Thanks Meter 3	You have to do a soft-reser after installing the cab file. The the reg edits are maintained. So re-instal and follow with a soft-reset.

Urban environment, not moving. After closing the GPS apps and moving a little (500m) I got a 3D fix @ 22sec (1H after the first fix) I use GPS Info which indicates the time needed to acquire a 3D fix. Tomorrow I will test 3D fix while moving (walking = 5km/h) in urban environment " ==> Here is the OuickGPS programm if SPV M650 owners dont using Orange Navigation want to test it, without changing the Rom. Dont know if it will works. Also, I would be curious to know if it works with Asus A535. AGPS being a Software update. it may be the case. Eten added AGPS to the G500 with a Rom Update. ==> Copy all files in the /Windows folder, then Copy/Paste a shortcut in /windows/Start/programs for convenience.

Do you see an option for OuickGPS in TomTom? I dont see one. I have TT 6.020 and a 47k PackedEphemeris file. still takes around 5 minutes to get a fix. Used to be guicker...

Did as advised and it worked a treat.. it finds my GPS Position before i have the chance to type in where i want to go!!! BRILL

My sen/er just redirects the request to the Mitac Mio "packedephemeris.ee" download site mentioned earlier. I presume this covers the whole world. but I really cant say for surę.
