Using a DVD recorder the teacher presents sonie extracts from the films showing different types of weather. He/she asks the pupils to name the weather phenomena they see (in Ukrainian).
Then follows the presentation of the new vocabulary. The teacher shows the flash cards and names them:

Pupils drill the new word and word combinations. The teacher shows the picture and asks them to put ticks or crosses in the appropri-ate boxes:
