The teacher asks the pupils to describe the weather on the pictures using the ąuestion “What’s the weather like?” Pupils look at the pictures from the text, describe them and try to guess what time of the year and what weather is depicted.

While-listening

The teacher asks the pupils to listen to the text and choose an ap-propriate picture.

a)    — What is the weather like today?

—    It’s very cold.

—    Is the sun shining?

—    Yes, it is. And the sky is blue. But the wind is blowing.

b)    — What is the weather like today?

—    It’s hot.

—    Is the wind blowing?

—    Yes, it is. And the sky is grey.

—    Can we see the sun?

—    No, the sun is not shining. There are large grey clouds in the sky.

—    Is it raining?

—    No.

Post-listening

Pupils read, translate and act out the dialogues. They put a tick in the appropriate boxes under the pictures.
