Dear Parishioners,
In this weekend bulletin, you will find our current financial statement* - reflecting our finances as of June 30, 2020.
This Financial Report DOES NOT reflect our total parish debt of $ 1, 137,000.00. This debt began in 2013, as the costs of maintaining the parish buildings, grounds, property/liability and employee insurances, Archdiocesan Assessments, and our regular monthly vendor fees, continued to rise each year. Over the past years, we have relied heavily on Fundraisers, however, that alone did not cover the financial needs of our parish.
St. Michael’s has been a “fixture" in this community sińce 1912. Since the “Pandemie” arrived in March of this year, our weekly Sunday collections have been reduced by an average of $3,000 per week. To cover our monthly basie financial obligations, a weekly collection of $10,000 is needed. This trend will continue to impact our operating deficit. As a result, we must take action to address our situation now by:
• Asking that everyone evaluate their weekly/monthly donation amount and, if possible, please “consider" inereasing your Sunday offerings to help with our basie operational needs. You may place your envelopes in the collection baskets at Mass, mail or drop off your donations to the rectory.
• Requesting morę parishioners participate in our online giving program, enabling a steady stream of monthly income for St. Michael’s. This is our secure on-line giving page: https:// osvhub.com/stmichael/funds
We are truły thankful to have such wonderful families in our parish and hope that with your support we can maneuver through these hard times and prepare for the futurę of our beautiful parish for generations to come. Thank you in advance for your continued support and participation.
With prayers,
Rev. Marek Wysocki, Pastor
Jim Drzymkowski, Business Manager
