CIIARACTERISTIC OF FOODS FOR ETHNIC RELIGIONS AND SOCIAL GROUPS
Summary
The paper concems the characteristic of so called „ethnic food” also of altemative ways of nutrition, which arc the most popular in Poland. The basie concepts of kosher diet and classification of kosher food products are presented. The paper describes Chinese cuisine which is integrally bounded wilh philosophy and Chinese medicine. It discussed the basie ideas of Diamond's diet. Also motives of people choosing vegetarian life style are listed and different vegetarian diets and their effects on human health are presented.
