The municipality is situated in the central part of the Pomorskie Voivodeship /Pomerania Province/. within 11 km from Wejherowo. The municipality’s villages (a "sołectwo” is a subdivision of a rural municipality) lie on both sides of the Gdansk-Szczecin route. 36 % of the area of the municipality is occupied by woods rich in gamę and undergrowth.
