• Aims of the course (effects of the course): The ability of using technological flow charts; the ability of selection of construction materials and devices, which are used in flue gas cleaning technologies; to be familiar with principles of exploitation of flue gas cleaning installations; to be prepared for a professional cooperation within the scope of the design, start-up, exploitation, maintenance and repair of installations.

• Course description: The course comprises lectures and project: The course provides the basie knowledge, which is necessary for solving problems related to the equipment used in flue gas cleaning installations. The course content comprises: principles of construction and maintenance, calculation and/or selection of devices for distribution and atomization of liquids in columns, heat exchange, spray -drying, VOC-s condensation, membranę separation of VOC-s, selection of construction materials for apparatus employed in flue gas cleaning installations.
