Patient position: standing.
Tear the paper backing away from the
central portion of the tape, leaving the
backing on the tails.
Holding the Kinesio Tex by the tails,
apply the central portion of the tape
with no tension to the xiphoid
process.
Slightly rotate the trunk to the right
side and apply the right tail with no
tension from the xiphoid process to
the inferior angle of the rib.
Repeat the process for applying the
left tail of the tape.
Completed Kinesio Tex application
