Give definitions of land cover and land use. Give an example of each of them.

Land Cover (LC) definition: The type (class) of a feature present on the
surface of the land. E.g. forest, lake, houses, tomato field... etc.

Land Use (LU) definition: the human activity or economic function for a
specific piece of land. E.g. residential, industrial, commercial, agricultu-
ral...etc.
