Inspection of Terminal Voltage

1. Remove the cover from the main fuse block. 2. Place a finger on the main relay. 3. Verify that the relay clicks when the ignition switch is turned ON. 4. Verify that the main relay clicks when the ignition switch is turned ON and OFF. 5. Apply battery voltage (B+) to terminal 86 and ground terminal 85 of the relay. 6. Check the continuity of the relay as shown. Terminals B+ applied B+ not applied 30-87 Continuity No continuity 7. If not as specified, replace the main relay. 8. Turn ignition switch OFF. 9. Replace the cover on the main fuse block.
