1. Apply vacuum to the EGR differential pressure sensor using a vacuum pump.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. With the EGR differential pressure sensor connector still connected, measure the voltage at EGR differential pressure sensor connector pin 3 (GRY).
Specification 6.0 in.Hg (20.3 kPa [152.4 mmHg]) Approx.3.6V 12.0 in.Hg (40.6 kPa [304.8 mmHg]) Approx.2.6V 16.0 in.Hg (54.0 kPa [406.4 mmHg]) Approx.1.9V 25.0 in.Hg (84.4 kPa [635 mmHg]) Approx. .4V
4. If not specified, replace the EGR differential pressure sensor.
Removal
1. Remove vacuum line and disconnect wire harness.
2. Remove bolt securing sensor to vehicle and remove sensor.
Installation
1. Secure sensor to vehicle with bolt.
2. Connect vacuum line and wiring.
