Grey wolf
Usually they have a bad reputation with livestock farmers - it is assumed that only the wolves feed on farm animals. But the truth is that the hunt for this animals only as a last resort - they much prefer the wild animals.
Gray wolf is one of the most famous canids in Poland. They're mammals. They're live in forests, in small packs. Wolf looks like a big dog breed husky, but unaccustomed can be dangerous. Never attack first, if It will not be provoked.
Wolf cant live alone. Wolves come together in packs. Head of a pack are male and female alpha. Only this pair can reproduce and eat the first. Wolves packs consist mostly of a few, usually 6-8 wolves. Packs observed in Poland, counting from 2 to 10, usually 4-5 individuals. In the wolves pack each of them is in a particular function.
Wolves are territorial animals. Size of a wolf pack's territory is close to 200 km2 . Wolves of this pack protect their ter ritory and do not allow entering foreign. Packs are travel on their territory to hunt ant they expand it.
Wolfes have a special body language, for example An angry wolf's ears are erect, and its fur bristles. They communicate by it.
Wolves are pretty cute and very intelligent animals. They are endangered because many people were killing it for their fur, or want to eliminate a threat to their animals.
