TEACHERS NOTES
CONTENTS
Sheet with 18 coloured robots
Similar sheet but robots left uncoloured
Worksheet
TECHNICAL NOTE:
The colours used for this activity don't always print very well, so I have included a blank copy of the robots for your pupils/students to colour in themselves if you have printer problems.

body parts: head, body, arms, legs |
PREPARATION
Print out enough copies of the `robots' for pupils/students to share one between two AND one for you.
Cut your set up into individual cards.
METHOD
Take one of the small cards and tell the learners to look at the sheet with all the robots on it and ask Yes/No questions to work out which card you are holding, for example, `Has it got pink legs?'
The learner who guesses which one it is wins the small card. The winner is the person with the largest number of small cards.
Instead of winning the card, pupils/students could be given points for good questions and for deciding on the correct answer.
Later pupils/students take your role.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON COLOUR BLINDNESS
Some people, including about 10% of men and boys, suffer from some degree of colour blindness. If one of your pupils/students is having problems with this activity, do check whether they are colour blind. My own grandson thought brown was red in this activity.
