After breakfast all the animals did their work, but Eek-eek-eek the mouse was thinking about Cog the camel.

He talked to Log the lion.

`Cog always carries a bag,' said Eek-eek-eek the mouse. `Why does he carry it?'

`I don't know,' said Log the lion. `What does he keep in the bag?'

They went and spoke to all the other animals.

`Why does Cog the camel carry a bag?' they asked.

`We don't know,' said all the other animals.

Then they saw Cog the camel. `Why do you carry a bag?' they asked. `What do you keep in it?'

`Nothing,' said Cog the camel. `I keep nothing in the bag.'

`I don't believe you,' said Eek-eek-eek the mouse. `I want to look in the bag.'

`No,' said Cog the camel. `I don't want you to look in my bag. I don't want you to talk to me. I want you to leave me alone.'

Cog the camel walked away. He was angry.
