It was 6 o'clock in the morning and Cog the camel started to cough.

He coughed and he coughed and he coughed and he coughed.

He woke all the animals up.

`Be quiet!' they all shouted, but Cog the camel coughed and coughed and coughed.

Eek-eek-eek the mouse looked at Log the lion,
`Cog the camel coughs every morning,' he said.

`Yes,' said Log the lion. `He does cough every morning.'

Eek-eek-eek the mouse looked at Cog the camel.

`You cough every morning,' he said.

`Yes,' said Log the lion, `you cough every morning and every morning you wake me up!'

`No,' said Cog the camel, `I don't cough every morning, sometimes I cough and sometimes I don't cough.'

`No,' said all the animals, `you cough every morning and you wake us up every morning.'

`I'm sorry,' said Cog the camel.
