MATERIALS
Base board (set of 16 numbers)
Set of fraction sum cards - photocopy two sets in different colours
Worksheet
NB enlarge and photocopy on to A3 card if possible.
RULES
For two learners or (better) two teams of two learners.
Each team has a different coloured set of the fraction sum cards.
The teams take it in turn to lay a card on the base board on an appropriate number.
The first team to lay down a line of four cards is the winner.
If there is no winner, count up the number of lines of three cards; the team with the highest number is the winner.
(NB it is possible to block the other team!!)
