Capital punishment is ever controversial subject. As many people as many opinions of this kind of punishment. Have you ever thought about a situation when you must decide about somebody's life?

There is no denying that there are many horrible crimes on the whole world. What is more, many hardened criminals had been stayed in many prisons for many years and still commit the crimes, murders. In fact, very often families of murdered victims demand death penalty for criminals. In this families's opinion it is only just way to punish criminals. Some people advocate capital punishment because of their views “this life for the other life”. It is also truth that society must pay for staying this people in prisons what is unfair for other people who need support.

On the other hand, death penalties, for instance electric chair or lethal injection have a main purpose to neutralize dreadful criminals. But how we can know what they will do if they do not punish death penalty? Furthermore, there are many other ways to neutralize notorious criminals: a judge can sentence them to life imprisonment for serious offences and manage cure them mental illness, as well.

In conclusion, it is very difficult thing to announce the verdict about subject of capital punishment. Each man has own opinion for it and perceives their advantages and negative sides in other way.

Death penalty is the most severe punishment in today's law. Mostly it is carried out on very dangerous criminals. In our country this kind of penalty is prohibited, but in the world, there are a few countries where that kind of penalty is permitted. Criminals are becoming more brutal and if we want to cease crime we even have to resort to kill these people. I would like to show few advantages considering this kind of punishment.

First of all, when we put a murderer to death , the family of the victim should feel safely. It is a big relief for the them when they hear about the sentence of their most dangerous enemy. Perhaps the family of victim can faster forget about the tragic event. But not only can those people feel safely but each of us, because the killer will not commit such crime anymore.

Second of all, in my opinion, people should kill those criminals who murder people to prevent other crimes in the nearest future. Perhaps some future criminals will be afraid of this punishment, beacuse this is worse than perpetuity. In case somebody kills other humans, he should be punished in the same way.

What is more, a simple murder can be justified, because every human is able to do it, it just depends on circumstances. However when disastrious rapes, murders and any kind of such awful crimes come into play, death penalty should be done, without scruples. Because this is sick.

To sum up, from my point of view, death penalty should be using in all countries in the world because it is fair for people who are honest. Law is unfair for people, when somebody kill someone - this person is only going to long holiday. If death penalty was everywhere I think crimes would be lowed. The felon must be afraid about his life and suffer as much as people who he hurt.

THE CAPITAL PUNISHMENT

The capital punishment is the severest punishment in the world and it is still administered in 120 countries. Many people die in this way each year, which leads to causes numerous discussions between the supporters and the opponents of that proceeding. Both groups have a lot of arguments to support their opinions.

The proponents of this kind of penalizing think that countries economize a lot thanks to death penalty. These people claim that inflicting capital punishment is much more economical than providing for those sentenced to life imprisonment.
Furthermore, the supporters say that neither the Bible nor the Catechism of the Catholic Church prohibits punishing murderers or other criminals who committed serious offences by death.
People who defend capital punishment also claim that it deters potential criminals from committing crimes. At the same time they hold that thanks to it the number of crimes is not getting higher.

On the other hand, the opponents of the death penalty argue, that this kind of punishment does not save national money. On the contrary, it involves huge expenses which are covered from the taxpayers pocket.
Secondly, they stand up to the supporters of capital punishment by claiming that the Bible as well as the Catechism of the Catholic Church do not, as a matter of fact, forbid this punishment. They emphasize that those works do not encourage people to kill others in the name of justice.
Adversaries do not agree with statement that this severest punishment deters potential criminals. They accuse their opponents of putting forward watchwords without having convincing proofs. Many researches show that the death penalty is not a deterrent.

The issue of the capital punishment has been arousing controversies and many discussions between its followers and opponents. When one group of people states something, the other group tries to disprove theirs discovery. It is said that as long as the death penalty is being executed, that long its pros and cons will be consider.

hat can justice do to reduce the number of serious crime? For this question answer has not been found over the past few years. I strongly believe that the best solution of this problem is to change the law.
First of all the judgements for criminals must be stricter. Death penalty can not be abolished due to the fact that more and more offenders are no longer afraid of being punished. In my opinion justice should be more consistent and give sentences which will immediately frighten criminals.
Furthermore it seems to me that capital punishment in some cases is indispensable. Even though in certain countries this special sentence does not exist I believe that for instance a terrorist responsible for the death of dozens of people should not be kept alive.
As oppose to above ideas many people are still thinking that one person can not decide about somebody's live or death.
All things considered I'm absolutely convinced that death penalty is a good idea to prevent the increasingly number of crimes but it should be used very carefully and only in necessity.

Punishment is a political machine of mass repressive measures. It's constructed to crush potential villain-will and turn ego into crawling pulp of begging remains.
It is combined with mentality, because people think that the government as an organization care about the future of its citizens and helps with their moral inaccuracies.
That is the lie that simple people live in and it is the cause of dissatisfaction. How can anybody trust gold-sucking vampires called politicians, when the view of their spiritual depravity is known on all available television channels.
Mass-Medias create mystic portraits of individuals closed in numbered cells and sell information about each more medial case. Furthermore they use the art of punishment to colour their news, but what is really unfair they establish the limits of taste and teach about compassion, not knowing anything about human-needs.
What is more they force thinking about punishment as a way of reducing crime, but on the other hand it transforms our dreams about an ideal prison into a severe, penal institute.
First of all stereotypes saying that a prison sentence can rehabilitate corroded psyches are incorrect.
The best example will be the silhouette of the most known and hideous film hero in our known world, dr. Hannibal Lecter. His views over human flesh and savouring body preserves are nowadays the elements of pop-cultural-sicknesses. His personality, diabolic mind were to powerful for the punishment system.
Instead of loosing time and national taxes he should be transported to a medical-psychiatric facility, where he could be kept in human conditions and gradually experience the strength of normality.
Second argument stands for changing normal criminal-institutes into fortresses imitating the model of the ancient Babylon Tower, what is connected with creating them more severe.
Despite the fact that mankind never were even a bit humble it is really ridiculous to severe the lives of convicts all around the world. Loneliness and incomprehension from the society turned directly into them, turn prisoners into a potential, insane, suicide jelly, vide prisoners connected with the case of M. Olewnik.
Next thought that needs consideration is the global aspect of crime and its results.
People shut up in claustrophobic cells with the lack of daylight and abandoned by their friends are isolated from evil triumphing outdoors and they can not help in its victory when they are in prison, but reduced crime on the streets has a reflection in punishment-facilities.
Criminalists that lose their freedom usually become very aggressive and acquire features characteristic belonging to primitive mammals. They expiate their wrath on newcomers or other pathologic-mates.
The feeling of tightness all-round creates fabulous conditions for excesses and brutal violence. People that are susceptible to stress metamorphose into killing-beasts and what is real ironic, the weaker-psyche they have, the more cruel they get.
Severing the punishments will only add to their morals the feeling of hopelessness.
For instance prisoners having their sentences in San Quentin and their revolution can be quoted, because of the huge killing-massacre.
On the other hand humongous freedom-restrictions synonymous with the concept of punishment are ideas paradoxically good to introduce them to the citizens of the Polish country.
Despite the fact that punishment procures discontent it is a dream pattern for evil thoughts extermination and curing the society from moral falls
For example if the society is aware of the going-to-prison risk after making a robbery, they will not take innumeracy of leaving their families. It is told that potential criminalists are afraid of justice if they do not have the resistance mind-power.
Second contra-argument is the safety of going outdoors after the sunset when You know that people who undertaken the role of sheriffs have more competences to scare anti-social-elements.
The best way to show it are statistic measures.
They say that severed punishment has a real meaning to the citizens safety.
The last argument being a negative equivalent for pro-arguments is that prisoners in a country with severed law can educate and take a chance to make new acquaintances.
For instance, people with a twenty year sentence can develop their cultural abilities. Some analphabetic individual have a really good opportunity to learn how to read and what is more they can meet new friends or partners for rest of their existence.
To sum up it is true that cutting crime may have it roots in severing the punishment, but it may a have paradoxically different effect. People from the Polish country and from the rest of the Worls should reach a compromise with their internal "I" and ask series of questions to them self, like: "Why?", "Who?" "How Many?" and "Where?"

Subject which is death penalty is extensive and awake many emotions now. This essay will be about death penalty in civilization definite as “western” (however it is omit events of wars and particularly wars judgment). It is because it is esteem as the most developed and this sort of punishment is in it very controversial. Many people think over that this sort of penalty have a sense yet. Others are its fierce adversary. Another esteem that it should exist. All have their rights, which are often contradictory but sometimes are also equally good.
It is because is many of points of view at this question: ethical, social, lawful, economical….
At first it is good take up connection between evolution of civilization and death penalty. By now every kind of people organization had this sort of punishment. As we know bigger group of people must organized themselves that survive. It is how come into being law and religions.
Religions are consist an most part with ethic “which attempts to understand the nature of morality; to define that which is right from that which is wrong. The Western tradition of ethics is sometimes called moral philosophy”* Practically all beliefs are against death penalty. Its permit it only in necessary defence.
“Western” civilization and particularly law in big part come from ancients Romans so it is good to remember one Latin sentence “ubi lex ubi poena”(where is a law there is also a punishment). Also death penalty- very cruel as we now from historical documents. But this fact didn't change opinion that ancient Roman culture was great. Hoverer themselves people warn “It is better do not punish one guilty person that punish one innocent person”*
Now among countries rank in “western civilization” only in USA have a law which permit on death penalty. It is perceive as a little strange, because it is consider as one of most progressive and rich country. That surprise reveal this quotation from “AI death row”: “An AIUSA member told me ` If 20 years ago somebody had asked me -of south Africa, Soviet Union and USA, which country would be last to abolish the death penalty, I would never have thought it would be USA'”.*
“Capital punishment in the United States is officially sanctioned by 36 of the 50 states, as well as by the federal government(..)The death penalty has repeatedly been challenged as being a cruel and unusual punishment and thus unconstitutional under the eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution. "The United States is one of the few democracies in the world that maintains the death penalty for particularly serious crimes; whether it should maintain it has been a matter of practical, moral, and constitutional debate" (from American Justice Volume 1).” Protagonists add: “death penalty is that it gives a victim's relatives and friends closure. The victim's family has peace of mind when they know the killer can never murder again.”*
However it no contribute to decrease significant of amounts of crimes. That is proven by sociological examination -“A 1988 UN study of the relations between the death penalty and homicide rates concluded that “This research has failed to provide scientific proof is unlikely to be forthcoming. The evidence as a whole still gives no positive support to the determent hypothesis. The study reviewed evidence from around the world on changes in the use of death penalty and crime rates. The evidence showed that countries need no fear sudden and serious changes in the curve of crime if they reduce their reliance on the death penalty”
The death penalty was abolished in Canada in 1976. The previous year, 1975, there was 701 homicides, in 1984 there was 668. In 1993, 17 years after the abolition, the homicide rate was 27 per cent lower than 1975”.*
At fourth is economical issue. That is argument which is often use by followers of death penalty. They claim that” the death penalty is economical. According to the Huntsville Death Row, it cost $59 a day to house an inmate, or $21,535 a year. There are numerous programs that depend on America's tax dollars where the funds could be better spent”*
That is also why are change methods of execution. In past hanging was the most common method. “The last person to be hung in chains was a murderer named John Marshall in West Virginia on April 4, 1913.
Currently lethal injection is the method used or allowed in 37 of the 38 states which allow the death penalty and by the federal government. Nebraska requires electrocution. Other states also allow electrocution, gas chambers, hanging and the firing squad. From 1976 to 2004, out of 944 executions: 776 have been by lethal injection, 153 by electrocution, 11 by gas chamber, 3 by hanging, and 2 by firing squad.
The use of lethal injection has become standard. From 2001, only 3 out of 273 executions have been by a different method.(…)
The electric chair was the major method of execution during most of the 20th century. They developed a special nickname: Old Sparky. Some, particularly in Florida, were noted for malfunctions, which caused discussion of their cruelty and resulted in a shift to lethal injection as the major method of execution.”*
On the other hand words of one of opponents of this sorts of punishment express their opinion “from hanging to electric chair to lethal injection: how much prettier can you make it? Yet the prettier it becomes, the uglier it is”*
In a conclusion -many things speak against penalty but exist also a few strong arguments which rationalize its existence. And still is no one clear answer. All depends on people… However it can be said that in the countries which think that they are civilized death penalty could abolish it . This hesitations good reveal another Latin sentence “summum ius, summa iniura” which is translated as “too heavy punishment is harm”. Because the aim of court is convict of compensation, but not a game with life, which is one and unique.

What are the working, employment and unemployment in Poland and how do they compare with the UK?????

All people have their own jobs and life styles. Some of them are workmen, a lot of people work as clerks, others are directors and managers. Some jobs require great effort from us like working in a mine or on the oil platform. Many people, who work as, for example, tour guides or managers have to go abroad and visit many different places all the time. A lot of people don't have enough time for their families because they devote it to their jobs. We can single out kind of full time part or temporary job or also illegally work.
Part time jobs are available in Poland and England. Most industries and professions are common in offices, pubs shops, factories, cafes and restaurant.(Hampshire 2001). Many young foreigners combine part-time work and study, for example improving their English or studying for a trade or professional qualification.(n.d.) Part-time employees, officially classified as those working less than 16 hours a week in this two country, also have little protection from exploitation by employers, although some employers give part time employees the same rights as full-time employees .(n.d.)
Temporary and casual job differ from part time in that job are usually for a fixed period only, for example from a few hours to a few months, or work may be intermittent.(n.d.)

Anyone who is a Britain citizen, an EU-national haw than Poland may work as self-employment in Britain, which includes partnerships, co-operatives, franchise and commission-only jobs or a private business. (Hampshire 2001).Unlike most other EU countries in this is Poland, there are few restrictions and little red type for anyone wanting to start a business or work as self-employed in Britain. One of the government's main initiatives for reducing the numbers of unemployed has been to encourage people to start their own businesses.
While in working hours in Britain is very depending on your employer, people position and the type of industry in which you are employed. For example, the official working week in most manufacturing industries is around 37.5 to 40 hours, while many office employees work 35to 38 hours a week .At the other end the scale, some employees in hospital, security, catering and hotels may work up to 100 hours a week, although the averaging these fields is between 50and 60.(Hampshire 2001). However, under the EU social chapter to which Britain is now signatory, the maximum working week is now 48 hours exactly the same how in Poland.
For reasons of safety, employees must have rest breaks during the day and a daily rest period of 11 consecutive hours and a weekly rest period of 24 hours. Instead night-shift working is limited to eight hours a night, averaged over 17 weeks. (n.d.)
Most popular occupation in Poland are similar to those Hungary and the Czech Republic, with opening for consultants and experts, and the English teaching and voluntary work.(Packer 2001) .Speaking polish and other language skills will be necessary for job at other levels, like secretarial work. But in the England also teacher and clerk. (n.d)

After 1989 when communism finished, Poland got huge changes. It started the process of stabilization the economy. Polish market was closed for western countries. It changed. At the beginning in Poland there were few shops, but when the borders opened a lot of companies from western countries came to Poland and set up some new shops, for example supermarkets and new institutions.(Kwak 1998). Before 1989 there weren't many products in shops, only the most necessary. Together with development of labor market there were more things in shops and now we can buy everything we want. Before 1989 Poland could cooperate only with eastern, communists countries.(n.d) The economy of this countries was bad, so was that in Poland. After 1990 Poland wanted to have such economy like western countries, it made everything to achieve it. The huge impact on development of Polish economy had efforts to join the European Union. Polish market also changed. A state institutions has been changed into private ones. State plants that were unprofitable were closed, and new foreign companies invested money in new work places. By the last 16 years economy together with labor market has changed a lot. (n.d)
Today in Poland there are 20% people who are unemployment. It is very difficult to find job, well paid or even worse-paid job.(Kwak 1998)
People just want to earn money and it is not important for many people of them in which way they will do it.
However, many of jobless people are not really interested in finding work, they just like to complain that they are out of job and money. On the one the hand people without work become more aggressive unemployment and poverty courses growing number of robberies and crimes, but on the other hands it begin for example is better that having no job. 4
Nowadays world unemployment is one of biggest problems in Poland. According to the Douglas(2001), more and more people do not have a work prospects for future. The worth is that particularly government does no care about it in enough and the situation of people who are out of work is getting worse every year. According to Kwak(1998) firstly the polish government should support more small and medium sized firms. Then they will develop faster and will become bigger and they could give work to more employees. Secondary, the government should create the education system which provide people a chance in educate in direction they would like to go. Another way to deal with this problem is to reduce bureaucracy.
This problem is difficult to solve but and England and Poland are more organization who help people in find job for example; worker who lose their job have a right unemployment benefits after they register in the employment office(n.d) They can get income support but this is, usually little money to live on.
Succeeding solution in UK and Poland is employment services. The Employment Services is an executive agency of the department of education and employment and it is job is provide helps for those who have been unemployment.(Hampshire 2001) The employment services has two main methods of assisting the unemployment; by planning people directly in job and be offering guidance and counseling so that people can find the best way return to employment for example thought education or training.(n.d)
Secondary very similar organization is Job center but no appearance in Poland.
Job center is government English organization, office where local companies advertise for employees and where the unemployed.(Hampshire 2001). 5
People can obtain information about government employment and training schemes. The vast majority of job advertised in Job center are manual or low paid and don't usually induce managerial or professional position, are generally self service although staff are on hand to provide advice and help when required.. Moreover this organization doesn't deal with profession or industry, they should be able to tell about other sources of information. However many cites in UK have their own employment center for example; “Flame”, “Taurus” or “job shops” where jobs the local city or burgh council are advertised.(Boels 1999) 0x01 graphic

We live in times, when using machines is very popular and easy. We have contact with modern computer technology everyday.
Our life is changing. We often observe that unemployment is increasing.
Firstly, many machines do some works better and quicker than people and demand for people will decrease. In medicine that is true, particularly in surgery. We will not need surgery becouse nanorobots - microscopic robots, will solve our health problems.
On the other hand, demand for computer programmers, administrators and servicemens will increase.
It is obvious that new technologies are in our daily life, and make it easier. We do not have to spend too much time on house works, becouse we have perfect house machines which help us.
Moreover, microchips will even be in our fridges, so we know what food we must buy, and will save time on making shopping list.
What is more, selling computer equipment will increase, becouse machines are different, and they may get damaged.
Moreover, thanks to computers technology which improves every year, new machines are created and they replace people in many work places and jobs.
In a few years, computer technology will be everywhere in schools, many institutions, offices, and in the travel business. And it will demand educated and skilled people.
Taking the above into consideration, demand for physical workers will decrease, but demand for computer specialist will increase.

Unemployment is a very serious problem in Poland. An unemployment rate grows rapidly.Being unemployed these days is not a shame. In the face of rapid technological progress and economic changes , people are often made redundant.
In my opinion he problem is that the unemployed often do not have the relevant qualifications .In such causes they can receive special professional training provided by Employment Office. This system enables more people to requalify or retrain. The unemployed may also look for a part - time job , look for job by private employment agencies or by the newspapers.Unfortunately a lot of the unemployed don't research the job. They register in the Employment Office and get Income Support , becouse it's the easiest way.
Polish politician open vocational guidance and give social assistance but I think they should reform taxes.

Alternative energy

Most of the energy we use today comes by burning fossil fuels (for example coal, oil and gas) or generated in nuclear power stations. Unfortunately, these are not renewable sources of energy, and once they have run out. What is more, these methods of electricity generation are harmful to the environment. They emit harmful greenhouse gases, which contribute to global warming and climate change. We need to look for other ways of supplying energy which will be friendly to the environment.
As the alternative source of energy we can use for example wind powers. Wind power has been used for many years in countries like Holland and Denmark. This type of energy harnesses the power of the wind to propel the blades of wind turbines. Wind towers are usually built together on wind farms. Wind farms are actually arrays of electricity-generating wind turbines, which are tall, slim towers with two or three rotor blades at the top. Then can be as few as one and as many as thousands of wind turbines in a single array. The wind turns the blades, which spin a pole. This pole is connected to a generator, where the electricity is made. Computers monitor the wind direction and speed, and can shut down the turbines if the wind becomes too strong.
This kind of the energy has many advantages. Wind power produces no water or air pollution that can contaminate the environment, there are no by-products, such as carbon dioxide. Wind generation is a renewable source of energy, which means that we will never run out of it. What is more, wind turbines make hardly any noise and they are not unpleasant to look at, certainly not as ugly as nuclear power stations. Although wind farms do take up a lot of space, they are often located on unoccupied sites or in areas that can also be used for farming. Besides building wind farms at sea is also possible. A single wind turbine can produce enough electricity to power 375 homes and wind power supplying as much as 10% of world's electricity demands.
On the other hand, there are disadvantages. Consistent wind is needed to ensure continuous power generation. When the wind speed decreases, less electricity is generated.
Solar power is the technology of obtaining useful energy from the light of the Sun. It is a way of using the sun's energy as heat or to make electricity. The Sun provides approximately 1000 watts/meter² on Earth\'s surface. Solar energy has been used in many traditional technologies for centuries and has come into widespread use where other power supplies are absent, such as in space.
Solar power is a renewable resource. As long as the Sun exists, its energy will reach Earth. Solar cells can convert about 20% of the energy of incident sunlight to electrical energy. Solar cells can also be placed on top of existing urban infrastructure. In sunny countries, solar power can be used in remote locations. This way, isolated places can receive electricity, when there is no way to connect to the power line from a plant. Solar energy can be used very efficiently for heating (for example water and home) and lighting. Solar power generation releases no water or air pollution, because there is no combustion of fuels.
Geothermal energy harnesses the heat energy present underneath the Earth. Geothermal power has a very large potential if considering all the heat existing inside Earth, although the heat flow from the interior to the surface is only 1/20,000 as great as the energy received from the Sun or about 2-3 times that from tidal power.
Geothermal energy produces air or water pollution if performed incorrectly but if done correctly, will cause no physical damage. Unfortunately geothermal energy is only sufficient as source of power in certain areas of the world. At the moment Iceland and New Zealand are two of the greatest users of geothermal energy.
There are several types of water-power.
River water can be used to generate hydroelectric power. In hydroenergy, the gravitational descent of a river is compressed from a long run to a single location with a dam or a flume. This creates a location where concentrated pressure and flow can be used to turn turbines or water wheels, which drive a mechanical mill or an electric generator. An electric generator, when there is excess energy available, can be run backwards to pump water back up for later use. In this type of the power station electricity can be generated constantly, because there are no outside forces, which affect the availability of water. Hydroelectric power produces no waste or pollution. But the construction of a dam can have a serious environmental impact on the surrounding areas. Because a river valley is being flooded, the delicate local habitat of many species are destroyed. Dams are expensive to build, making the start-up costs of a hydroelectric power station very high. Hydroelectricity can only be used in areas where there is a large supply of water.
Wave power is the extraction of energy from waves in large bodies of water such as oceans and large lakes. This type of the energy exerts the minimal effect on the environment. The possibility of the use from the wave power is limited to shorelines.
The energy was, is and will be necessary to people in their life. Kind or using of the energy can be different. We need the energy in the industry, the transport, the heating or to the lighting. Especially over the recent years grows up using of the energy from renewable sources such as sun, water, wind. In the world the participation of renewable sources of energy amounts about 18% all kinds of the energy, and in the European Union- 6%. Advantages of these sources of energy more and more often notice users.

From nineteenth century progress in technology and science was very significant. Many inventions such as: stream locomotive, electricity or telephones were the revolution in the development of industry. The use of modern engines and different devices enabled us to accelerate production and manufacturing. Work, in factories, become easier and more comfortable. Households were also upgraded. Many domestic appliances like: washing machines, vacuum cleaners, fridges, dishwashers and many other useful objects appeared. During twentieth century, after the Second World War, a lot of modern equipment was used in our households. Colourfull TV sets, consoles, camcorders, video recorders, mobile phones - these inventions made our live easier and more pleasing.
Nowadays, we use all the equipment everyday. The majority of us probably cannot imagine life without mobile phones or sound players. Presently, we can communicate with other people all the time. World Wide Web may be used to data transferring on very long distances. From several years, web's users do not have to be connected with network cables. We can use wireless access from satellite with the use of suitable modems. Today, people do not get lost easily, because a lot of useful equipment can always help them. Global Positioning System always shows you where you are, and how to get into nearest orientation place like mountain, river or valley. GPS is also used by drivers, who often use it to find the way to nearest petrol station, parking or restaurant. A lot of people like: businessmen, politics or clerks must keep in touch with their offices and companies. The easiest way to communicate with other people is to move with notebook or palmtop with wireless access to network. Then we can talk, write, transferring data wherever we actually are. E-mailing, video conferencing or speaking with our colleagues and stakeholders was never as easy as it is nowadays.
Modern technologies also concern entertainment market. Everybody want to have a fun. Producers want to amuse all the customers, so they offer different equipment for them. We can for example buy a console to play in the majority of games. Hardware like Xbox or PlayStation may relax the player. Some kinds of games, I mean strategies and Massively-Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games require PC to use. Unfortunately, they are very time-consuming, so not everyone can spent time playing them.
Overall majority of people like going to the cinema and watching films. We can watch them differently. The image can be displayed with the use of projector, Liquid Crystal Display or Cathode Ray Tube. The films are often displayed on large surfaces. The diagonal of plasma TV sets is often greater than one hundred inches. It is about two meters - wide television. That makes a good impression! If somebody wants to hear the surrounding voices around himself, he can mount speakers that consist of five or seven `satellites' and subwoofer. Then all sounds will be more realistic and natural. Using the suite like that should satisfy each human being.
A lot of people love to commemorate their life. Today, we can buy different digital cameras and camcorders, with the use of which we may easily document important occasions and incidents from our life. Christenings, holy communions, weddings, birthdays and other meaningful events should be recorded and kept as memories from the past. We ought to save the memorials of our families for the next generations. Cameras can be also used to keep in mind all the souvenirs from trips and travels. All interesting places and people can be recorded and photographed. The beauty of natural environment, landscapes, monuments, works of art or unusual architectural constructions can be saved on photos and videos.
All of above-mentioned inventions are very useful and helpful in everyday life. We use them and we do not care about world which surrounds us. We can forget about everything, and enter virtual world. In my opinion, all `diseases' like net or games addictions are harmless and unthreatening for the society.
Without modern technologies life on the Earth would be much harder and not very friendly for its inhabitants. The majority of inventions makes our everyday activities like: cooking, cleaning or ironing much easier. We should have much more time for us, but in fact, our time is gobbled by TV, games and other enjoyments. However, expansion and development of technologies was very meaningful for science, medicine and economy. According to famous saying: `Time and tide wait for no man' everyone is pushed for time, nobody can stop and think about himself. Peoples from twenty first century have not much time, that is the fact, but let's face it! Without advanced technologies we will be probably using abacus to calculating and bucksaw to amputation of the limbs.

The level of nowadays civilization is connected with chronic technology development. The number of new inventions and useful gadgets is increasing in breathtaking speed. The fact of the matter is that human of 21st century would not imagine his life without as simple thing as washing machine or computer.
The most obvious argument saying in favour is fact, that technology makes our life easier. Preparing dish makes no problem any longer and we do not have to worry about dishes or clothes. What is more, thanks to it we can stay keep in touch with our friends or family by using phone. In addition, safety matters cannot be passed over. Alarms and complex security systems makes our houses unfriendly for burglars, so we can sleep calmness.
However, there are some drawbacks too. Chronic having our work done by machines can lead to laziness and inability to handling without them. In addiction, situation likes this can be even dangerous for us. The TV or computers addicted are nothing unusual nowadays, and it is not less harmful than alcohol or drugs. Last but not least, excess of electronic devices in our houses can have damaging impact on human health. Appliances like TV set or microwave emits some kind of waves, which are unfriendly for human body.
All things considered, it seems that technology is inseparable part of our life, and the matter if we would use it properly depends on us only.

Moving towards the 21st century, technological advancement has become a focus of today's society. Technology has entered the lives of even the poorest members of society, and it is very rare to find anyone who does not have some form of modern technology, such as a TV of a food processor, in their home.
There are many things to be said in favour of technological advancement, the most obvious being that it undoubtedly makes people lives easier. Without benefits that technology brings, the world would be a much harder place to live in. For example, how would any business operate without faxes, photocopies or telephones?
On the other hand, technology also has the potential to destroy everything at the touch of a button - a point eloquently made by Quentin Reynolds when he said, "The scientists split the atom; now the atom is splitting us". The danger of technological advancement is that machines will completely replace humans, leaving fewer jobs and reducing human contact in everyday life, which cannot be a good thing for society.
In conclusion, although technology has the potential to provide a better quality of life for everyone, it is also capable of destroying everything within a very short space of time. As such it should be developed with caution and should never be allowed to take place of human contact, because this is what ultimately holds a society together.

Many recent developments in genetic engineering and computer technology seem to suggest that the future of mankind depends on biologists, physicists, and mathematicians, and that the humanities are no longer so important. However, is true progress possible in world without philosophy, literature, art or music? I strongly believe that a prosperous and promising future for man does not lie only in the hands of scientists.
Firstly, technological advances always result in political and social changes, which lead to new ethical problems. So human functioning involves spheres beyond what can be measured, calculated and analysed chamically.
Secondly, the quality of life is affected not only by hi-tech devices but also by aesthetic pleasure, relationships with others, and finding answers to questions that have to do with happiness, aims of human existence and the like. Hard science may not be able to help much with that, whereas philosophy, literature and art can.
On the other hand, technological progress would not be possible without advances in scientific fields. Thanks to modern medicine, people live longer and certain fatal diseases have been eliminated. Life is much more comfortable and enjoyable with fast cars, labour saving devices and jacuzzi.
While, undeniably, there will not be much progress without hard scientific research, those who write poetry, make films, compose music and investigate history also contribute greatly to the future of humanity. After all, the term 'humanistic' comes from 'human' and I strongly support the view that there will not be humanity without human sciences.

People are discavering more and more new things in order to make life easier and more carious. This what is useful brings us happy. Technology expansion influences on relation between people and shows us new possibilities.
Duties which were earlier done by humans now are done by a new machine e.g computer, robot, autamat.
Peolple stop create things which they are use. Clear progress in medicine, use new technologies to diagnose and combat diseases make therapy more effective. Statistic show that life expectancy is getting longer.
Also a very important is communication which is the fastest developing part of technology. Not only cars and aeroplanes but also the internet and phones are now inseparable part of human`s life.
Thanks of them our life is more comfortable. Ambulances and phones help to rescue people, also fire brigade can arrive faster to the place in fire.Besides, phones give us a better contact with our family, friends and other pepole.
I think that this big progress has made our life better and more carious and comfortable but the world isn`t better. In the enviroment is a lot of pollutions the crime rate is high and the only one thing what people care about is money!

Recently I wanted to see some good film. I looked for it everywhere and I found a nwe film produced in 2007 in USA, directed by Zack Snyder "300". I thought that if I watched it I wouldn't regret it.
The film based an a comics by Frank Miller and Lynn Var is both a war and historical film.
The story begins with the arrival of Perssion representatives to the king of Sparta, Leonidas whose part is played by Cerard Butler. Spartans murder them, which leads to the tragic battle of Termopile in which king Leonidas and three hundred of Spartans fight against Xerkxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his hundred thousands of Persian worriers. Interepiol Spartians fight to the end. Their courage and pride become on example to follow for all Greeks. In film we call also see: David Wenham as Dilios, Lena Headey- Queen Gorgo, Vincent Regan- Captain, Michael Fassbender as Stelios and many others.
The atmosphere and the dramatic effect of the screen adaptation of "300" depends largely on the sound. For example just the sound or flying arrows or the swords in the battle ewokes strong emotions. The orginal score, compose by Tyler Bates accompanies each scene in such a way that it explains the meaning of each gesture, movement so that they're remembered.
Costiums were designed by Michael Wilkinson. They help the viewers to get into the spirit of ancient Greece. Soldiers are dress only in garment cloaks with enermous shield and spears in hand as their weapon. The costium designer decided to dress Spartans in warm deep colours where as Persians in exotic colours such as: green, blue, videt and gold. Xerkxes outfit is a very interesting costume which is composed of jawellery: African and Middle East beads and ornaments. It is also worth mentioning that the film makers put a lot of effort in order to make the film as clore to the comic as possible.
Film is powerful. The plot is suspense-filled into recent while.

My diet is well- balanced. I choose healthy products such as fish, fruit and vegetables. I avoid fast food, sweets, crisps and ice- cream. I never drink coffee. I just don't like the taste. I don't like spicy food. I have toeat something before I go out to school. I usually have yoghurt, a cheese sandwich and a cup of tea for breakfast. I usually have a soup, a piece of meat with potatoes and salad for dinner. I have an afternoon snacks at five o'clock. In the evening I have supper. I often eat scrambled eggs.

Jobs and life styles.

A lot of people don?t have enough time for their families because they devote it to their jobs.
Many people nowadays suffer from stress. It is also a result of being tired all the time. People often overestimate their strength and work too hard and too long. They have too little time for their families, for a rest and meeting friends. They often don?t go to the theatres and cinemas, they spend all their free time at home. Some people aren?t glad of their jobs. They complain of the fact that the job doesn?t give them satisfaction and they are too boring. I think it?s often a result of choosing the job for money ? the young always want to earn much money and they often think that working is only making money. But in fact there isn?t so ? if you want to be happy ? your job should also give you satisfaction and pleasure.
I think that in the future I will have a job connected with computers. I think that it is very interesting job and I have already talked with some people who work as computer experts. I want to work in telecommunication firm most ? there are many free positions in this part of economy and I think that I could earn enough money working there. Besides I think that computer science is developing very fast branch of science and in a job I want to have many changes all the time ? a person who does this job knows new technologies all the time, he often goes to many different training courses and he solves many different problems ? I think it is a very ambitious job. I never would like to work as a workman ? I think that this job is often causes health problems and it wouldn?t give me real satisfaction.
I also want to have a job connected with travelling. I think it is very interesting when you travel to other countries, visit many interesting cities, places, know a lot of foreigners. If I had a chance to go to the USA or England for some months to work there ? I would agree. Many young people in Poland profit from such jobs ? they go abroad for some weeks or months and earn money and after it they go somewhere to rest. Thanks to it they mustn?t ask their parents for money, they learn to be independent and solve many problems which they will have in their adult lives.
Summing up, I think that many young people dream about their future life, job which they will have but they should realize that occupation ought to give them not only money. In my opinion work gives us satisfaction if we like our jobs, if we earn enough money and if we have enough free time. I also think that what we will do in the future depends on our education ? if we have good results and if we study at a good university ? we have a better chance to find a good and well-paid job than someone, who haven?t enough qualifications. In my opinion our future lifestyle depends on what we will choose in the future: career, money or a family.
occupation - zawód
devote ? poświęcać (np. czas) branch of science ? dziedzina nauki
clerk = intellectual worker most ? najbardziej; większość
complain of ? skarżyć się na ambitious - ambitna
overestimate ? przeceniać weariness ? znużenie
require ? wymagać training courses - szkolenia

I decided to start to follow a healthy lifestyle. I made this decision on Friday, and Saturday was supposed to be the first day of my new life.

I got up at 8am, because sleeping too long is said to be unhealthy. Because coffee is bad for you health, I took orange juice from the fridge. I added hot water, because cold drinks are bad for the organism. It didn't taste very good, but it was certainly very healthy.

I found that there was a lot of unhealthy food at home. The ham was too salty, the cheese indigestible, the butter had too much cholesterol and the fresh buns were complete disaster! So I was left with an apple and an old carrot. I ate them both, thinking about my healthy.

I neither watched TV, nor sat at the computer. I didn't even read the newspaper, because it's bad for your eyes. I couldn't lie down, because when you lie down you put on weight. I just walked around the apartment all day long doing absolutely nothing. In the beginning it was rather fun, but at some point I started feeling paralyzed. I couldn't make a phone call, because these devices create some dangerouse eletromagnetic waves, I couldn't even have a fight with my sister, because stress can ruin your beauty.

In the evening, I gave up. I said to my parents that I didn't care about following a healthy lifestyle anymore and that everything was going to return to normal as from Sunday.

They were visibly relieved. ;-)

Healthy lifestyle influence our psychological and physical well-being. On what we eat, how much we eat or how many exercises we do depends how we feel every day or how we are going to work in our job/school.
I believe that everybody should do some sport at least twice a week. Even a half hour walk may be a some kind of exercise. Everybody knows how badly our bodies need to move and how little we actually do move in our lives, as we mostly sit in front of computer screens or television sets.
For one thing, it is not very time consuming, so even the busiest professionals would have time to do it. And for another, sport takes your mind off thinking, so that your brain can rest for a bit.
Some people say that `we are what we eat'. And I agree with that statement. Only eating healthy food we can avoid a lot of diseases. I rather recommended buying organic food in special shops. It is important to cut on sweets and fatty foods, and ofcourse stop smoking.
Behind health and sport we need to get enough sleep on a regular basis and overdo our work. Just think positive.

Nowadays being fit and slim is very popular. It does not matter how old are you. If you eat healthy food you are trendy. However fast food is popular too. Especially among people with no free time, because they can eat quick and cheaply.
We like fast food because it is fat and tasty and not very expensive. But it is important to know that fast food like hamburgers, pizzas or chips cause lots of diseases like arteriosclerosis, overweight thereby heart attack, varicose and above all cancers!
We want to be healthy and we still eat fast foods... One hamburger (pizza, or chips) has more fat than our organisms need for one day. It means that we eat too much fat and carbohydrates and to less proteins. In healthy lifestyle it is major to do exercises (sports), drink lots of water, eat slow and healthy and sleep well. Nowadays it is nearly impossible. We sleep little, we eat quickly and unhealthy, we don't exercise...
That's why we can not merge healthy lifestyle and eating fast foods.
