Arguments for:

· University should prepare young people for life, and looking after yourself is one of the most important life skills.

· Young people have more freedom and independence.

· Living without parents allows young people to become more responsible for their lives.

Arguments against:

· Renting/Sharing accommodation is often too expensive for young people.

· Separation from their families might be difficult emotionally.

· Looking after yourself (shopping, cooking, tidying up) takes a lot of time which could be better spent studying.
