Tekst 1.
Kobieta:
I remember it very well. The teacher was
an old woman with grey hair and I was
scared of her! I didn’t know anybody and
I felt lonely, but I was also excited because
everything was so new and different.
Tekst 2.
Dziewczynka: Dad, please, could we go to the new
shopping centre! All my friends have
already been there!
Mężczyzna: Not today, Susan. I’ve got lots of work to
do. Also, I haven’t got any money.
Dziewczynka: But please, dad. I don’t want to buy
anything. I only want to look at things.
Tekst 3.
Mężczyzna: I try to keep fit. I go to the gym at
weekends and I also exercise every day.
I go to bed early and I have cold showers
because it’s really healthy. But I hate diets!
I don’t eat much fast food but I love cakes
and sweets!
Dialog 1.
Kobieta:
Excuse me, is it far to the beach from here?
Mężczyzna: It’s not more than a kilometre. Go straight
on, then turn right at the museum. There is
a little forest and the beach is behind it.
Kobieta:
Thanks a lot. I think I can hear the sea.
Dialog 2.
Mężczyzna: Oh no, Judy, we are late.
Kobieta:
When is the next train?
Mężczyzna: In three hours.
Kobieta:
What are we going to do?
Mężczyzna: We can leave our rucksacks here and go to
the museum.
Kobieta:
I’d rather go to the beach and swim in the
sea for the last time.
Dialog 3.
Kobieta:
What are these?
Mężczyzna: I think they are parts of old ships and
boats. And look at these photos of the sea.
They look really old!
Kobieta:
Yes, I guess they didn’t take them with
a digital camera! OK. They're closing in
five minutes. I saw a nice cafe in the main
street. Let’s go there and have a rest.
Dziewczynka: And this is my brother’s room.
Chłopiec:
I guess he’s into sport?
Dziewczynka: Oh, yes. He loves sport – and he’s messy!
You can guess what sports he likes best.
Chłopiec:
Well, I think he likes football because there
are football boots under the desk. And
there is a ball next to the wardrobe!
Dziewczynka: Yes, you’re right. He plays football three
times a week.
Chłopiec:
I can see a skateboard under the bed – so
he likes skateboarding as well. And there
is a tracksuit on the chair. Does he go
jogging?
Dziewczynka: No, he goes to the gym in his tracksuit.
Chłopiec:
And where is he now?
Dziewczynka: I guess he’s gone cycling because his bike
isn’t here.

Chłopiec:
After school I sometimes visit my parents
or my brother at work. My dad works in
a garage, I often help him repair cars.
My mum works in an office and I spend
hours there doing my homework. But the
best place is my brother’s. He works in
a restaurant and I can eat lunch there
for free!

Mężczyzna: So, what animal did you like best at the
zoo, Joan? The lion?
Dziewczynka: Well, it’s beautiful, but a bit boring. I love
animals from the sea, especially whales,
but there weren’t any whales at the zoo.
I saw sharks – and they were great!
Tekst 3.
Kobieta:
Stand up, Tom, and come to the board.
And bring your notebook with you. But
don’t take the calculator. Leave it on the
desk, please.
Tekst 4.
Mężczyzna: So, how was your trip, Jane? Did you finally
go to the mountains by bike?
Kobieta:
No, it was really cold, so we didn’t go to
the mountains at all. We decided to go to
London.
Mężczyzna: Did you go by car?
Kobieta:
No, we went by bus. Our car is broken. But
the trip was great anyway!
Tekst 5.
Mężczyzna: Hurry up, Maggie! It’s already six o’clock!
The concert starts at half past six!
Kobieta:
No, it doesn’t start at six! I’ve checked it
again on the Internet. It starts at quarter
to seven and the concert hall is very close
– so we still have fifteen minutes to get
ready!
