MATERIALS
Worsted Weight Yarn (Medium #4) 275 yards total
MC (main color) mouse fur
CC (contrasting color) blanket trim – optional for nose
and inner ear
Colors for inner ear, nose, mouth, and eyes
Crochet Hook I (5.5mm) – or hook recommended by yarn
Crochet Hook G (4.0-4.5mm) – or 2-3 sizes smaller than
recommended hook
Tapestry Needle
Stitch Marker
Fiberfill
NOTES
Gauge is not important to this project and you may use other weights of yarn. Just make sure you are using a
comfortable hook for the yarn you choose.
Make sure the smaller hook creates tight enough stitches so the fiberfill stuffing will not show through.
An I hook with worsted weight yarn should give you about an 18” blanket.
When working in rounds that are not joined, use the stitch marker to hold your place as necessary.
If you want a less noticeable decrease use “inv sc2tog” in place of “sc2tog.”

FACE EMBROIDERY
To sew Nose: Use black or other color yarn and sew a
triangle shape over top the magic loop and R1 of the
head. Find the bottom sc and top three sc and sew nose
using diagrams below. Sew multiple times from the
bottom to the top three sc to fill in whole nose.
To sew Eyes: Use black or other color yarn and sew
repeatedly over two stitches. They should be positioned
about half way between the ears and the nose.
To sew Smile: Use black
or other color yarn and
sew a half smile or full
