Chapter 2 Matters Needing Attentions
2.1 Electrostatic security
Any time contact equipment or components wearing ESD wrist. ESD wrist should contact with the
skin, and insert the plug to ESD socket on the equipment.
2.2 High pressure safety
Avoid installation or demolition while the product is energized, to prevent the unforeseen personal
injury.
2.3 Earthing safety
Before the installation, ensure the device terminals have well connected to the engineering grounding
room.

Chapter 3 Installation Scenes
The steps of equipment installation of ISCOM2924GF-4GE and ISCOM2924GF-4C are the same.
ISCOM2924GF-4GE/4C is supported in following scenes:

Chapter 4 Installation Conditions
4.1 Working Environment
Far from pollution, and environment with dust, harmful gases and explosives;
Physical address away from the transformer substation, the industrial boiler, heating boiler and
the wireless interference sources.
The equipment room height is not less than 2 m, laid anti-static raised floor.
Structure The load bearing must be over 600 kg/ m2. It also requires good ground
conditions, and ensures the correct ground connection after installation.
Working Temperature -5!~ 50!
Working Humidity 10% RH~ 90% RH, non-condensation.
Working pressure 86kPa~ 106kPa
Take the effective anti-static measure, the electrostatic voltage absolute value
ESD protection
must be less than 1000 V.
Seismic grade Up to eight-level seismic grade.
4.2 Power conditions
AC power The AC rated voltage is 220 V, voltage fluctuation range at 100V~ 240V.
DC Power The DC rated voltage is -48 V, voltage fluctuation range at -36 V ~ -72 V.
Alternative power Better to have special standby power, to keep equipment working.
The power provided by power is more than 55W if installing ISCOM2924GF-4GE device;
Power consumption
The power provided by power is more than 65W if installing ISCOM2924GF-4C device.
4.3 Ground conditions
The equipment adopts Common Earthing, and grounding resistance value is not more than 1 ©.
Good grounding is an important guarantee of anti-lightning as well as anti-interference.
4.3.1 Unpack hardware

4.3.3 Connect to the earth
ISCOM2924GF-4GE/4C device uses guideline of earth wire.

1. Counterclockwise unscrew GND terminal on the back of the chassis.
2. Install earth wires.
3. Connect earth wires to earth bus in rack or equipment room.

4.3.4 Connect the power cables
Øð Connect DC power cables:
1. Insert Dc power cables.
2. Tighten the screws
Øð Connect AC power cables:
1. open buckle of AC power
2. insert AC power line
3. press buckle of AC power

Note:
Øð It is strictly prohibited to install the power cord in energized state.
Øð Power off before the completion of installation and wiring.
Øð Ensure earth wires has been grounded well.

Chapter 5 Check after Installation

Chapter 6 Electricity Inspection
6.1 Electricity preparation

6.2 Electricity inspection

Accessing to the power, the indicators of panel should show correct. As
