Feather and Fan Mobeus Shawl
Pattern Stitch:
Row 1 - Knit
Row 2 - Purl
Row 3 - (K2tog) 3x; (yo, k1) 6 times; (k2tog) 3x
Row 4 - Knit
Materials:
Araucania Ruca Multy (100g/263 yd, 100% sugar cane) 1 ball color 8.
One pair size 8 needles
Stitch markers
Gauge: Not very important.
Abbreviations:
CO = cast on
K = knit
P = purl
Rep = repeat
Pattern Notes:
1. I suggest you cast on use a provisional cast on because at the end you will do a three needle bind off
to join the two ends.
2. Place your markers on row 1 before and after the k36. This will help maintain your 3st garter edge.
3. If you want to make the scarf wider, add 18 additional stitches to the CO and rep pattern 2x on row 3.
Pattern:
CO 42 stitches using a provisional cast on.
Row 1. Knit.
Row 2 K3, p36, k3.
Row 3 K3, *(k2tog) 3x; (yo, k1) 6x; (k2tog) 3x;* rep from * 1x; k3.
Row 4 Knit
Repeat all four rows until desired length, ending with row 1.
Using your free needle, pick up the sts from the provision CO.
Twist the scarf two times. This will ensure that when you wear it, the front of the pattern will show.
With right sides together, join the pieces using a 3 needle bindoff.
