• Create thread base.
Wrap lead wire.
Secure lead with thread.

• Tie in tails. Brown biots
should be installed on each
side of hook. Tail length
should equal hook gap.

• Tie in gold wire for
rib. Tie in 3 or 4 peacock
herl at tail set position.

• Wrap peacock herl forward and tie off leaving enough room at head for beard and wing. Counter wrap rib
forward and tie off.

• Tie in hackle. Make 3 to 4 wraps and secure with thread. Pull top and side barbules down and tie off to
create a beard. Length of hackle fibers should be to hook point.

• For wing, tie in 2 white biots divided. Length should be equal to body. Whip finish.
