With main color

and pull tight. (10sts)

R3) Ch1, 2hdc in same stitch as ch1, hdc, *2hdc,hdc * repeat from *-*

Shell/Cover

You will make 6 of these

Work in the main Color , if you want spots do R1&2 in spot color.

R1) ch5 and join to form a ring

R2) Ch2,dc in the center of the ring, ch1 *,2dc, ch1 repeat

4x total and join with a slst to ch2 (10dc 5 ch-1 sp)

R3) sl into ch1 space, Ch2, dc in the same ch space, ch1, 2dc in the

same space, * in next ch 1 space from prior round (2dc,ch1,2dc) *

Repeat around joining with a slst to top of beginning ch2 (20dc, 5ch-

1sp)

R4) slst into the ch1 opening, ch2, 6dc in the same ch1 space , *7dc in

the next ch1 space* Repeat from *-* around join with a slst to ch2.

(35dc)

R5) ch1,* 1sc in each of the next 7 sts, LDC down between the shells

of round 3 join with a slst to ch1 (35sc,5ldc)

R6) ch1, 1 hdc in the same stitch as ch1 and each of the next 2sts ,*

(hdc,ch1,hdc) in the next, 1hdc in each of the next 7sts) Repeat from

*-* 3x ,(hdc,ch1,hdc), 1 hdc in the next 4sts, join with a slst to ch1.

(45hdc, 5ch-1 sp) Finish off and weave in ends.

Use same color as R6 to join all the

motifs

Once all 6 are made you will work around

the top of the first motif. You will put

both right sides facing and you will join

with a slst through the ch1 of R6, and slst

through the FL of the center motif and

the back loop of the side motif all the

way down to the ch1 space. You will slst

through the ch1 space, Then grab the next motif and go through the

same center's ch1 and into the next motifs ch1 and repeat the

directions.

You will then join the two sides and go from ch1 to ch1 same as the top

slst the way finish off and weave in all ends.

Join hat color and ch1 in same stitch as ch1 and hdc in each stitch

around finish off and weave in ends

Ears

- with main color

Make Two

Ch 15

R1) hdc in the 2

nd

ch from the hook, and in each stitch down, ch1 turn,

R2-6) hdc in each stitch down,ch1 turn (14 hdc)

R7) hdc2tog the first 4 stitchs,1 hdc in each of the next 6sts,

hdc2tog 2x, ch1 turn

R8) hdc2tog the first 4 stitchs,1 hdc in each of the next 2sts,

hdc2tog 2x, ch1 turn

R8) hdc2tog 3x

R9) sc around the ear and finish off and weave in ends

(optional) sew the top or rounded part of the ear over rows 2-4 on the

hat. Then sew the inner corner down to the hat. (About 4-5 rows of

the corner) It made the ear curl.

Tail

Ch20

R1) in the 2

ch from the hook 2hdc, 3hdc in each stitch up the chain, fo and

leave a long enough tail for sewing in.

Nose-

R1) Mc, in the circle do 3hdc,3dc,3hdc,3dc join to top of 1 hdc,

R2) Ch1,2hdc in each stitch around Join with a slst

Finish Off leaving a long tail for sewing on the hat

also add two buttons on the nose

EYES

R1) Mc, in the circle do 3hdc,3dc,3hdc,3dc join to top

of 1 hdc, leave a tail for sewing it on the hat.

Sew two button in for eyes

Sew two button in for eyes and for the Paula sew in

eyelashes into the top outer corners

G Hook

R1 - MC, 10 sc, sl st to the first sc

R2 - (ch2, 2dc, hdc) in same stitch, slip stitch in next, *(sl st,

ch2, 2dc, hdc) in next,

slip stitch in next * repeat from * to * around, slip stitch to

beginning.

(you should have 5 petals)

Leave a long tail and sew below pig ear. Attach button for

decoration.
