The Beholding is her first release from Leisure Books. Her second novel, So Close to the Flame, won the 1990 Romance Novel of the Year awarded by National Press Women. She lives in Amarillo, Texas, with her husband of twenty-five years, Roy. Dia says the joys of her life are daughter, Dionne, who just graduated from high school, and getting letters from her readers.
