2. The advantages and disadvantages of civil disobedience.
Nowadays, civil disobedience is a popular phenomenon among young
people. In today's world common becomes against the law. I will try to
introduce the advantages and disadvantages of this phenomenon.
The first and most important of advantages is simplification our life. An
example would be riding public transportation, eg. By bus without a valid
ticket entitling to travel. According to the law commit a crime, and for us
it's nothing, it saved money.
Next advantage is good work by society, but not accordindg to the law.
Here is an example of a situation when someone beats rapist before
committing his offense. For society it is a deed worthy of praise, but still
it's beating.
The last of the advantages is the interior conviction of the rightness of
action. Often there are situations when we believe that we are right, that
the law is unjust , but still it is a law and do not change it.
Now I introduce disadvantages.
The first of these is the ability to not accept disobedience by society. The
most popular in Poland is smoking in public places. Many people are
bothered. People who smoke consider this as something ordinary, but for
non-smokers this is uncomfortable and if they notify the relevant
departments according to the law should be punished.
Next disadvantages is a big responsibility for their ideas. An example
might be a painting graffiti on walls in public places. For us it is something
beautiful , it is an art and also a form of communication for the
environment , but if a person painted been caught in the act will be
punished by the mandate.
The last of the disadvantages is the lack of any approval for minor offenses
from the law. There are situations when the law is violated only slightly,
but it is a law that remains intact.
According to me, civil disobedience has a good and bad side. Sometimes
it's hard to say that the situation is disobedience because it can be
interpreted differently by the environment.
