Defensive Betting System = D.B.S

What is the D.B.S?

When you are wagering a sports bet, you are betting against the bookie. The bookie’s greatest
profit comes from offensive gamblers. (People that are looking for the big pay-day.)  The
majority of people, who wager on sports, have no return. With defensive gambling, not only do
you get paid with one loss, but 2-3 losses can still bring you great benefit.

The fact is you’re

going to lose… One game, two games, etc… it’s inevitable.

 The maximum amount of games

that one should ever wager on one single bet is 3 games.

NEVER

 should a 4

th

 game be added.

These are called Parlays in the world of sports betting. (A Parlay is a form of betting, in which
you package multiple games, in a single bet, therefore increasing the payout of your bet. However
with a parlay if you don’t get all of your games right than you will lose all your money.) Now
when we tell you to make bets in 3’s we are not telling you to just take 3 games and bet them.
What we are doing is creating a system (D.B.S) in which you can win more frequently, and with
better results than if you bet games individually, or by choosing just 3 games to play in a single
bet.

Now using the system we will show you, how the more games you have the better for your bets.
Say for example you like 5 games this upcoming week in football. There are several ways you
can bet them, place 5 bets on the games individually, also you could place the 5 of them in a
Parlay together, and place a single bet. We would advise you to avoid both of these methods.
Using are Defensive system we will show you a way to bet all 5 games while defending your
wager the best way. You take the 5 games and you play the 5 games amongst themselves in
packages of 3. If you did it correctly you should have 10 possible tickets. I’ll show you how this
works. We will number off the 5 games by number 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Now we group them in 3’s
and see how many different combinations we will get.

1,2,3    1,2,4    1,2,5    1,3,4    1,3,5    1,4,5

2,3,4    2,3,5    2,4,5    3,4,5

. You see how that works out to 10 possible combinations. Now let’s

say that you were to wager $10 on every ticket (We chose the number 10, because it’s a round
figure and easier to show. You can choose any number you like.) So if we choose $10 per ticket,
than we have $100 bet on all of these. Now say you were to lose a game and went 4/5. If you had
bet those games in a 5 game parlay, you’d have lost all your money right now. Let’s see how you
did in our system. 4/5 would mean that 4 tickets win and 6 lost. A typical 3 game parlay pays out
7:1 on your wager. (Payout may vary with different areas and betting agencies.) Each winning
ticket would be 7 times your wager of $10. So each winning ticket would pay out $70. So if you
have 4 winning tickets, at $70 a winning ticket, than using our system would have won you $280.
Not bad at all, (and by following our picks this year, this is a number you will see often, because
4/5 is 80% accuracy, and that’s about how accurate we are when it comes to predicting the
outcomes of games). Now say that you had an average week and won 3/5, this would have given
you 1 winning ticket for this week. 1 winning ticket pays out $70 dollars in our system. That’s a
$30 loss for the week, but it could have been the full $100. Now the more games you bet per
week, the more games you can lose and still make a profit. We will show you that underneath.

That in a nutshell is what the Defensive Betting System (D.B.S) is about. Keep reading further, as
we will dissect the many aspects of the Defensive Betting System in detail.

The Defensive Betting System Charts

The More games you bet the more games you can lose, and still make a profit. No matter how
many games you like in any given week (4, 5, 8, 9) You

NEVER

bet them in anything other than

GROUPS of 3’s

Terms:

Pay-out = How much Cash you will receive.
Total Bet = How much you bet on all your tickets combined.
Soft week = Not many games to bet, which means small profit week.
Average week = Pretty good money to be made.
Strong week = Great money to be made.

*Outcomes highlighted in

Green=Profit,

Blue=Breaking even,

Red=Loss.

*Where we live, (Toronto, Ontario) the betting agency only has pay-outs of 5:1 on 3 game Par-
lays. Most other agencies are 7:1. So your profit margins will be larger than our examples in the
charts below. If you want your own personal Chart, according to the payout of your betting
agency, and don’t know how to work it out, just email one of the Handicappers, George or

Is there any different ways you can bet without using all those charts?

The answer is yes. You can bet a different way, which is with a BASE

What is a Base?

A base is when you bet 1 Game on all of your tickets, and the other games you play in
combinations.

Betting with 1 Base

Betting with a Base has its positives and negatives. The positive thing about it is that, you don’t
have to bet as many tickets, which will save you money, but also that you can up the AMOUNT
you bet per ticket, which could maximize your profits. Also you can lose more games and still
make a profit than when you use the D.B.S without the Base. The negative thing about a Base, is
that the game NEEDS to come through, or else all your tickets are good as garbage.

Betting with 2 Bases

Betting with 2 Bases also has its positives and negatives. The positive thing about it is that, you
have even fewer tickets to bet than 1 base, and that means you can save even more money, or up
the AMOUNT you bet even more per ticket, than with 1 base. Also you can lose a lot more
games and still make a profit, than with 1 Base or no base at all. The negative thing about it is
that you now NEED 2 games to come through and this is even harder to do.

Betting with 2 Bases Chart

There is no need for a chart here because, the amount of games you want to bet on, that don’t include the
bases, are the amount of tickets you will play, and the payout will always be 5 Times your Total Bet.

For example this is how it would look for 1 Game - 9 Games
B B 1
B B 2
B B 3
B B 4
B B 5
B B 6
B B 7
B B 8
B B 9

Both Bases will NEED to come through to make money, and each winning ticket will pay-out 5 Times your
Bet. That is why there is no need to show a chart here.

How much should you bet? (D.B.S Bankroll)

You are free to bet how much you’d like on any given week. However we preach Defensive
Betting to our clients. Defensive Betting is not only how you bet your games every week, it’s also
how much you bet every week. When developing this system we also implemented something
called the D.B.S Bankroll. You want to bet with a Bankroll, and in order to do that you need to
decide how much you want to put in a Bankroll to start. We suggest you put 10% of what you
have saved up and don’t need, and putting it into a bankroll. So most typical Bankroll’s should
have between $500-$1000 to start with. (It can be any number though, depending on how much
you have saved up and don’t need.) Each week you are only allowed to bet 20% of your bankroll.
This number is very important and you should bet only 20% of your bankroll. Depending on how
some weeks turnout and how many bets you have to make, you might need to spend between 15-
25% of your Bankroll. But keep it around 20%. The reason for this number is because you defend
yourself against a devastating week. If you’re always betting 60-80% of your bankroll, then one
bad week will wipe you out and ruin all the hard work you have done over the weeks before that.
Also 20% is better than 40% because it saves you in the RARE occasion that you have back to
back devastating weeks.

What do I do with my weekly profits?

You put it back into your bankroll. Remember your Bankroll is money you don’t need to pay bills
with, and so the money is not to be withdrawn until the Football season is over. This way as you
make more and more money, your bets will get bigger and bigger, while still being only 20% of
your bankroll, and this way you can make bigger profits, due to bigger bets, while still defending
yourself from a bad week.
Let me give you an example of all this. So for the sake of an example let’s say we start off with
$1,000 in our bankroll. And let’s see how we progress throughout half a football season, and how
our Bankroll and bets increase as we do more and more winning, and still defends us from a
devastating week.

Week 1
Bankroll: $1,000
Betting amount: $200

Winnings for the week: $375 (This is profit and not the original bet included)

Week 2
Bankroll: $1,375
Betting Amount: $280 (Around 20%, it all depends on how much bets I make so my amounts will
never be exactly 20%, but I’m keeping it around it.)

Winnings for the week: $425

Week 3
Bankroll: $1,800
Betting Amount: $350

Winnings for the week:

-$50

 (We took a little loss)

Week 4
Bankroll: $1,750
Betting Amount: $325

Winnings for the week: $400

Week 5
Bankroll: $2,150
Betting Amount: $425

Winnings for the week: $100 (Small Profit this week, but a Profit nonetheless)

Week 6
Bankroll: $2,250
Betting Amount: $450

Winnings for the week: $1000 (Big Winning week)

Week 7
Bankroll: $3,250
Betting Amount: $650

Winnings for the week:

COMPLETE LOSS

(Aren’t you glad you only bet 20% of your bankroll

and it didn’t wipe you out).

Week 8
Bankroll: $2,600
Betting Amount: $500
Winnings for the week: $200

Week 9
Bankroll: $2,800

background image

Betting Amount: $550

Winnings for the week: $450

Total Bankroll after 9 Weeks: $3,250.

Would you look at that final number. We lost 2 weeks, one of which was a complete loss and yet
we still profited $2,250 in half a season of betting. See how the D.B.S Bankroll protects you
against a devastating week, and yet you can still gain big profits.

Now that you know how to bet properly, the only thing left is to make sure that your games our
