Tendon Correction
Movie for broad-band (300kbps)
Place the affected muscle-tendon in
an elongated position of tension.
Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the distal attachment of the tendon
with no tension.
Stabilize the base of the Kinesio Tex.
Apply the Kinesio Tex to the muscle-
tendon unit with moderate to severe
(50-75%) available tension.
As the tape reaches the
musculotendenous junction, decrease
tension to the very light to light (15-
25%) available tension and apply the
rest of the tape to the distal end of the
lower leg.
Apply the end of the Kinesio Tex with
no tension.
