Enter the world of Darkness...
Into every generation, a Slayer is born. One girl in all the world, a Chosen
One. She alone will have the power to stand against the vampires, the
demons, and the forces of darkness.
You know the drill.
This time, fate has chosen Hope Robertson. An orphan, Hope was raised
on the streets of New York City. As the Slayer, she still resides in the City
that Never Sleeps, guided by her Watcher, Elizabeth Smythe. Hope is a
brash and brazen young woman, and has a tendency to be reckless, but
Smythe hopes that with strict training and discipline, the Slayer will lead a
long life and become a great warrior.
Smythe was sent by the Watcher's Council to instruct Hope, but there is
also another purpose that she keeps quite hidden. She was sent to the city
to protect the oldest known Hellmouth from those who would seek to
reopen it.
Meanwhile...
In heaven, a secret war had raged for a millennia. Instigated by a band of
Angels disgruntled over God's favoritism displayed for the humans over
them, they sought to wipe humanity off of the face of the planet. The war
ended, however, when the rebellion's leader Gabriel was turned human

and Pyriel, the Angel that would take God's place was destroyed by the
Nephilim. Once a man, Gabriel saw the error of his ways and assisted the
Nephilim in an act of penance. As a reward, God returned Gabriel to his
Angelic form and called him back to heaven.
That was two years ago.
Now, the Angel Samael, Gabriel's former assassin, seeks his own form of
redemption. Once the war ended, Samael was cast from heaven's gates
and was instructed that he could not return until he proved himself.
Charged by Michael to protect the sacred ground where Lucifer landed
when he was cast from God's side in the first war, Samael finds himself in
the midst of humanity...in New York City.
Once on earth, Michael told Samael that he would find help if he "looked
hard enough."

Dramatis Personae
Main Characters:
Hope: The Vampire Slayer - An orphan turned
street skater punk, Hope Robertson was contacted
at the age of 16 by the Watcher's Council. At first
the girl refuses the job, wanting only to be left
alone. However, when one of her close friends
perishes at the hands of a vampire, she realizes
the importance and reality of her situation. Hope
eventually and begrudgingly takes on the
responsibilities of her Sacred Duty. Hope has a smart mouth and a quick
wit, much to the dismay of her current watcher, Elizabeth Smythe. She has
also taken to her training exceptionally and incorporates her "extreme
sports" activities into her hunt. This means that she slays at a break-neck
pace, leaving little to no time for error. (The part of Hope played by Emily
Bergl)

Dramatis Personae
Ian - After the second war in the heavens that
pitted Angel against Angel was over and God
opened his gates once more, the former assassin of
Gabriel sought redemption. The Angel Samael was
ordered by both the Archangel Michael and the
Seraph Metatron to protect a sacred land. That
sacred land was said to be the site where Lucifer
landed upon earth at the end of the first war.
Samael takes the human name of Ian and does his best to live amongst the
monkeys that he had fought for a millenia to destroy. He feels guilty for
the sins against God and Man, and his personality and demeanor is
always distant or sad. He still unwittingly harbors ill will to humans, and
many feel he is rude and bad tempered. (The part of Ian played by
Christian Bale)
Elizabeth Smythe - After hearing of her uncle's
death at the hands of the vampire known as
Lothos, Elizabeth enlisted with the Watcher's
council to continue the family tradition. An
unorthodox Watcher at best, Smythe prefers to
fight alongside her charge, a trait that is frowned
upon by the council. Upon Hope Robertson's
Calling, Smythe is sent to New York city to train
the young girl and protect the First Hellmouth from opening. She is wry
and patronizingly sarcastic most of the time, but truly cares for Hope and
knows that the young girl will be a champion. (The part of Smythe played
by Gates McFadden)

Dramatis Personae
Irina Romanov - Hope Robertson's best friend.
Irina was born and raised in Moscow, Russia and
traveled to America as an exchange student.
Quickly finding she enjoyed living in the less
poverty-stricken nation, Irina ran away from her
foster home when she learned that she would have
to return to Russia. She and Hope met on the
streets, and became fast friends. Irina is fiercely intelligent yet very shy,
and hopes to get her green card so she can *legally* stay in the united
states. Once she does, she would like to study medicine and one day
become a doctor. (The part of Irina played by Lena Katina)
Dach'ande: Being a demon from the Miquot clan,
Dach'ande(pronounced Dash-awn-day) is fiercly
devoted to honor and glory. In his clan, he was
deemed too reckless for his own good, and so he
was dishonorably exiled to the American
continent. His thirst for battle guided him to New
York city, where upon he ran into the Slayer.
Dach'ande had originally hoped to challenge the
girl in an effort to prove himself to his clan, but
when he came into contact with her, she was already in the midst of
fighting four vampires alone and losing. Realizing that the one most
feared by his kind was in danger of death, he decided that he could
probably find more honor and glory by helping than by killing her. He
now joins forces with the Slayer, and backs her up. Now nicknamed
"Dash" by the group, he is severely loyal to his peers and would risk life
and limb just to protect them. He is also fiercely competitive with Hope,
and is constantly out to prove that he is the better fighter. (The part of
Dach'ande voiced by Laurence Fishbourne)
Supporting Characters:

Dramatis Personae
Metatron: The Voice - "Metatron acts as the voice
of God. Whenever some yahoo claims that God
has spoken to them, they're speaking to [him]. Or
they're talking to themselves." One of the elite
seraphim, the highest choir of Angels, Metatron
acts as The Powers' personal messenger, charging
individuals with the tasks and crusades that Fate
decides. He is easily annoyed, and may seem
patronizing, but generally, he's one of the most caring Angels in existence.
(The part of Metatron played by Alan Rickman).
Gabriel - Once a sinister force against humanity,
the Archangel Gabriel has been forgiven for his
sins and resumes his station in heaven. Once
there, he convinces his former soldiers to throw
down their arms and to call a peace, as God's
Word reached them all. Now taking joy in
humanity, Gabriel is known to take more than a
few constitutionals, visiting earth whenever he
gets the chance. His personality comes off as an
odd cheerfulness, though he can look quite creepy, even when friendly.
(The part of Gabriel played by Christopher Walken).
Rachel - Borne into Paradise as the Angel of
Humor and Self-Confidence, Rachel is one of the
most hyperactive and outgoing people one would
ever meet. While she is no longer an angel, having
been raped of her wings and thus her angelic
nature, she lives contently as a human now;
afterall, of the angels Rachel likely had the biggest
fascination for the monkeys God cherished so
much. Having essentially 'grown up' with Loki and
Bartleby, Rachel is extremely close with the pair and often can be found
hanging around with one or the other, or both; otherwise, she tends to be

Dramatis Personae
with her soulmate, the angel Sekel. Rachel tends to be very physical with
people, often hanging off of their arms, or glomping them on sight (and
occasionally groping them if she knows them well). She also likes to
playfully harass those of her friends and acquaintances who visibly show a
distaste for it, hence why she'll try to embarass Metatron as much as
possible when he's around. Bouncy and excessively happy, Rachel is a
loyal and caring friend, even towards those she doesn't know well. (The
part of Rachel played by Jamie King).
Dracula - One of the oldest known vampires in
existence, Dracula is shrouded in an almost
charming mystery. Once Vlad Tepes, he was a
Romanian prince who led his army into battle
against the Turks. His desire to put his victims on
pikes for all to see earned him the name Vlad the
Impaler. And this was when he was human. After
he was turned, Dracula faked his death and became a recluse for close to
500 years. After this time, he hid no more, moving to London to seduce
and drink. He is not well liked by most other vampires(save for those he's
sired), because he is perhaps the most known in the real world. His
flamboyant and proud ways got him written about by Bram Stoker in a
book that has been labeled by the vampire community "The Big Book on
How To Kill Vampires." His personality is mysterious and charming, and
he loves the ladies. Human, Vampire, or otherwise. Yeah, he's kind of a
player. (The part of Dracula played by Gary Oldman).
Drusilla - Before her transformation, Drusilla was
raised in England to be a proper lady in the
aristocracy of London. Once she reached
adulthood, however, she began to experience
psychic visions of things to come. Her family
convinced her that this was wicked and an affront
to their lord God, so whenever she recieved these
visions, she would be promptly taken to church for

confessional. One fateful day, she happened to enter the confessional
while the savage and cunning vampire known as Angelus was feeding on
the priest on the other side. He then took a perverse interest in the girl,
and proceeded to twist her mind. He slaughtered her family and everyone
who ever touched her life, making her watch while he did it. Going mad,
Dru fled to a convent. On the day she was to make her sacred vows,
Angelus turned her. She, along with Angelus and his sire Darla, roamed
the countryside, killing and torturing and doing so with a song in their
hearts. About fifty years later, Drusilla grew bored. Angelus suggested
that she find herself a playmate, which she did in a man labeled "William
the Bloody." She turned this lovesick man into a vampire, making him
savage and bloodthirsty, almost as much so as Angelus. Soon after
Angelus regained his soul and repented his sins, Drusilla and her lover,
now calling himself Spike, moved on to Prague, where an angry mob
nearly tore her apart. Looking for a way to nurse his beloved back to
health, Spike took Dru to a Hellmouth in an attempt to draw its energies.
Unfortunately, the Hellmouth was guarded by a Slayer, one Buffy
Summers. They succeeded in restoring Dru to her full strength, but in the
process, Angelus returned and drew her attention from Spike. Jealous,
Spike betrayed Drusilla, and left Angelus to be slain. She never forgave
Spike for this, and the couple split soon afterwards. After that, Dru
bounced from meaningless relationship to meaningless relationship,
before finally travelling to Romania, where she found her newest
"soulless"-mate: The one and only Dracula. (The part of Drusilla played
by Juliet Landau).

Angel Roleplaying Game
Official Site. Not much here yet, but hopefully by time the Angel RPG is

The Grey Elf's BtVS page
A campaign site for the BtVS RPG system. He's got some interesting
additional stuff, such as a netbook that incorporates The Crow,
Highlander, and LXG into the game. That, and good, solid writing that
helps you get a feel for the characters. I still think Hope could've taken
Kat, tho. ;)
Slaying Solomon
An interesting take on the Buffyverse. A campaign set in Massachusettes in
the early 90's, the game has an extensive and well thought out setting,
complete with maps and other geography. Cool quotes, too.

My friend Lissa's page. This page, as the title may have clued you in, is
