Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to ask about the holiday apartments in the Golden Sands advertised in „Wakacje za granicą” magazine this month.
In your advertisement you mentioned that all the apartments are self-catering.
Could you tell me what cooking facilities are available in the kitchen? Could you also tell me if cooking utensils are also provided?
I noticed from your advertisement that the beach is quite nearby. However, I would also like to know if the apartments have an access to a swimming pool.
I would be very grateful if you could send me a list of apartments and prices with a view to making a reservation in July.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Tom Smith

Dear Sir Or Madam
I am writing to complain about a denim vest that I bought from your online shop last month.
When I took it out of the box, I was very unhappy to find that in different colour. As if this were not enough, this denim vest was too small.
I had a similar situation last year when I bought a dress online. It was too big. I wrote an e-mail to this company about this problem and they sent me another dress in the right size.
You can replace this vest for the right one or if it will not be possible I want to get a full refund.
I am enclosing the receipt.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Your faithfully

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to apply for one of the scholarship programs I saw advertised in your prospectus. Presently, I am training to be a secondary school teacher of English and I am finishing my course at the end of June. However, I feel I still have a lot to learn about the language and culture of The English-speaking country.
The reason I am applying for a scholarship is that I cannot afford the cost of studying abroad. I have no income except for my student grant, so if I am fortunate enough to be given the scholarship, I would have to work part-time to save some personal spending money. My parents will borrow some money for my airfare if I am succesful.
I would appreciate being given the opportunity to study at your college and would be very grateful if you would consider my application.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr and Mrs Smith,
My name is Sean Brown and I am your next-door neighbour. I am writing to apologise to you for disturbing your sleep last night.
My friends from Germany visited me because I had birthday yesterday. They arrived in the evening so the party started very late. I know that we could have listened to the music more quiet but we were dancing and we did not have the sense of time. We did not notice it was the middle of night till you rang me up and complained about the noise.
I am very sorry about the trouble I caused, I assure you that it will never happen again.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about the food and the service in your restaurant.
Last Friday my friends and I came to your restaurant. We checked the menu and wanted to eat salmon. The waiter told us that there were no salmons and that we should order something else. At last we decided to eat chicken shashliks with potato chips, some sauces and cola to drink. The waiter said we would have to wait about half an hour for our meals. Unfortunately, we waited for nearly an hour as the waiter forgot about our order. Moreover, the waiter misunderstood and instead of chicken he gave us beef shashliks which we did not like at all. What is more, the beef and potato chips were quite cold and underdone. We did not eat it but had to pay. We promised not to come back to that restaurant and so did our friends. It was very unsatisfying as we have often eaten there before and your service and food was excellent.
I suggest that you return to that excellent service and food. I also think that returning our money would be the best way to solve this problem.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction about the report concerning the last performance of the Black Knight Medieval Society. Its aim is to criticize the display in general as well as exaggerate all negative details of it. However, the author omitted the reason of the failure he focused on.
Firstly, one of such information is that there were few watchers from which majority were fussy about most activities. What denies such a statement are lots of e-mails from people who were satisfied with it and called it a great day. Unfortunately, not everyone had enough space to park so they left. The report also informs that the younger generation was weary during the display of archery practice, while they found it highly absorbing.
Another point is an untrue message about the lack safety measures. The author of this text must have not acquainted with our advertisement which notifies about being a member of NAHS and meeting safety requirements.
The last matter concerns writing that the dancing display did not attract visitors and that a few people complained about too little number of demonstrations of traditional cookery and craft skills. I cannot agree with that as people writing e-mails were fascinated about the music and dancing. Besides, there was too little space to display all exhibitions we planned.
Considering all issues above, it would be highly appreciated if you could print amended article with accurate information. Should you have any more questions, please call me at 5-12-34-56.
I look forward to your reply.
Yours Faithfully,
