Dear Adriana.

Well, this my third week in the United States. I like it very much. I always get up at seven o`clock and have breakfast in the mine apartment. I usually go to office by subway. I work in my office from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. with one hour break for lunch. I take it in a restaurant near the office. I usually arrive at the office at seven o`clock. In the evenings I sometimes stay mine apartment, but occasionally I go out to a concert and listen to music. Life is very exciting here. Last night an American friend of mine gave a party. The party was to celebrate his wife`s birthday.

They invited twenty of their friends. We all arrived about 8 p.m. There was good music, good food, and a lot to drink. There was even a birthday cake with candles. Everyone sang „Happy Birthday” to my friend`s wife and she opened her birthday presents. We ate and drank and talked and danced untill 2 a.m. When we left, there was no bus, no taxi. But one of my friends gave me a ride. We all enjoyed the party, but we are all sleepy today. Give me best wishes to the family. Best regards ,

Thank you for your Christmas card and the interesting letter with all your news that came with it. I was very happy to hear that you were promoted in your new job. It's hard to believe that you are the manager the Big Corporation. What is your wife's job?I had my usual family Christmas. My sister Asia came. She is very happy to stay in my house.

My wife Iwona was at a training course in England. She stayed in London for one month - November. She is very glad. The Big Ben and the Tower remained in her memory. I study in Academy of Defence. I'm. going to pass certificate exam in English in June.I think I've told you all our news, so I'll close now.Take care of yourself, and keep in touch.

Dear Tom,

Hello! How did you spend your last holiday? I know that summer holiday is important for everyone. May last holiday was very nice. It started in the end of July. My family and I went to the seaside. Every year we go to Dziwnów. It's far from Otwock. I always go there by car. It takes me 10 hours. It's our favourite holiday place. The Baltic Sea and the beach is clean there.We stayed at of camping site. Every day we got up early because we had breakfast at 7.30 a.m. Then we usually went to the beach. We had a swim and we were sun-bathing all days. After supper we often went for a walk round the town. When the sun didn't shine we went to Międzyzdroje or Kamień Pomorski. We visited museums and we saw a lot of very interesting things. We spend two weeks in Dziwnów. We enjoyed them very much. We spend the second half of my summer holiday with our parents in Orzysz.

I'm. very happy that I can write to you because we will get to know better each other. I'll tell you some information about me and my family.I live in Kraków which is one of the oldest town in Poland. It's picturesque located town near Tatra mountains. I'm single that I live alone. I have a small apartment in Podgórze district which is located near Wawel Castle. My town is one of the most beautifulplace in the Centre Europe.Before I started my learning at our Academy I was a commander of airborne company which was the part of 6^th Airborne Brigade. I like most subjects, but not all of them . In the evenings I like to visit my friends or stay at home and play parlours games ( especially scrabble, bridge or others ) with my friends. I like drive a car and of course parachuting .At the moment I'm. working very hard because I must write my dissertation, which takes my most of my free time.I'm. looking forward to hearing from you !

I sorry ! I haven't written for so long . I have been busy recently in my work. I'd like to tell you about my plants for the next holiday. A the beginning of July were going to stay in a small hotel for two weeks. We are going to sunbathe, swim and soul. I'd like to learn windsurfing and dive. In the evenings we are going to have barbecue drink beer and have a lot of fun. I hope you will also have a good summer holiday. Always yours..

I sorry ! I haven't written for so long I have been very busy, because I have just changed my job. I had to changed my flat too, because it was too far away from my job. Now I'm working as a bank manager. It is hard work but well-paid. My wife Lucy is expecting a baby. The twins are ok - they have just started primary school. our friend Bob retired so I often go fishing with him. Next month we are going on holiday to Tunisia.
