The princess and the frog

Have you ever heard the story of the princess and the frog?

Well, once upon a time, there was a princess. She was beautiful, confident and independent.

She lived in a castle in a country far away.

One day, she was sitting near a pond in the grounds of her castle. She was thinking about her life.

There she met a frog.

The frog said to her, `Beautiful princess, I was once a handsome prince. But then an evil witch changed me into a frog. Kiss me and I will turn back into a handsome, young prince. Then, my darling, we can get married and live in your castle with my mother. You can prepare my meals, wash my clothes and look after my children.'

Later, as the princess was enjoying a meal of frog's legs in a delicious cream sauce, she smiled and thought to herself, `Thanks, my prince … but no, thanks.'
