Special Rules:
Woodland Creature: A model with this special rule may move through woods and forests that are classed as difficult terrain as if it were open ground. Note that doesn’t mean they can automatically climb terrain in those areas, nor move through tree trunks or jump fallen Obstacles.
Circlet of the Kings: This crown allows Thranduil to cast the magical powers Aura of Dismay and Nature’s Wraith once per game each. They are automatically cast, no Will points are required, and they count as being cast on a 6 for the purposes of resisting.

Impaler: When a model riding a war camel charging into combat, the camel inflicts a Strength 4 hit on one enemy model in base contact as soon as the charge is complete.

Expert Rider: While mounted, an Expert Rider may re-roll the dice when making Jump and Thrown Riders tests. While mounted, an Expert Rider carrying a shield and bow still gains the +1 Defence bonus. If the model dismounts, he will lose the bonus for carrying a shield. Additionally, an Expert Rider can pick up a Light Object without having to dismount first.
Bladelord: When fighting on foot, Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm receives +1 Attack. Furthermore, Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm receives an additional Attack for each enemy model he is engaged with after the first. This bonus is determined at the start of each Fight, and lasts until all Strikes from that Fight have been resolved.
Great Commander: This Hero’s warband model limit is 18 rather than 12 warriors. The army may contain only one warband of that size.

Deadly Shot.– Legolas may shoot his bow three times in the Shoot phase, hitting targets normally in 3+. Alternatively, he can fire just once; this shot hits automatically, regardless of objects or models In The Way or the target is engaged in combat.

Bodyguard (Thranduil’s Halls): At the start of the game, choose another friendly Hero of Thranduil’s Halls among those in your force all your models with the Bodyguard (Thranduil’s Halls) special rule to protect. As long as this Hero is alive and on the board, models with this special rule automatically pass all Courage tests they have to take.
King’s Guard: Whilst within 3’’ of Thranduil, this model receives a bonus of +1 to his Fight value.
