RETAIL OUTLETS

Fob-Decor is preparing for Parkridge construction of retail-shopping gallery on 4.6 hectares in Zawiercie. In mid July Fob-Decor applied to the City Council of Zawiercie (Śląskie Voivodship) for administrative permits connected with plans for the construction of
a Shopping-Cultural-Entertainment Center Focus Park Zawiercie. The concept of the investment assumes the development of approx. 4.6 hectares of land, located in the center of the city, in an area delimited by the streets: Leśna, Huldczyńskiego, Senatorska, Sienkiewicza, the railroad sidetrack to the CMC Ironworks in Zawiercie, Paderewskiego Street and Gen. Sikorskiego Street. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a complex of outlets with a development area of over 19,000 sqm and up to 20 meters high.

Let us recall that we have already mentioned the creation by the Star City Company of a company devoted to the construction of the shopping-service gallery in Zawiercie. Star City has prepared Focus Parks, for example in Tomaszów Mazowiecki and Września. ■

Urbano is preparing construction of shopping galleries with total area of 16,000 sqm in Łask and Gostynin. Urbano Inwestycje is the developer and designer of preparations for the construction of a shopping gallery in Łask (Łódzkie Voivodship). The two-story outlet, with
a development area of over 6,200 sqm (app. 12,500 sqm of total area), will be built on an almost 3.4-hectare lot, located on Warszawska Street and constituting a section of National Road Nr 14. Proceedings connected to obtaining a conditions of development (WZiZT) decision are in progress.

Meanwhile the company is planning the construction of an outlet with two aboveground stories, with a total area of approx. 3,600 sqm and with an underground garage. A lot with an area of over 0.7 hectare, located in the area of Nowa and Floriańska streets, will be used for the investment. ■

Metro is preparing construction of Praktiker hypermarket with area of 10,000 sqm in Zabrze. Metro Group Asset Management is conducting preparations for the construction of a Praktiker hypermarket in the M1 shopping center in Zabrze (Śląskie Voivodship) on Plutonowego Szkubacza Street. The store had earlier functioned as part of the complex, but it burned down at the end of last year.

The new outlet, designed by the Czora&Czora workshop from Gliwice, will have a lease area of almost 10,000 sqm. The tender procedure for the general contractor of the investment is in progress now. Construction works will begin in September and take until the beginning of next year.

The shopping passage at the M1 center will also be developed. The designer of that enterprise will be chosen soon. ■

Portico Investments will build Fortuna shopping center with net area of 6,000 sqm in Częstochowa. Portico Investments is finalizing preparations for the construction of the Fortuna shopping center in the area of 11 Listopada, Topolowa and Wojska Polskiego streets in Częstochowa. The enterprise will include the construction of two outlets with a total lease area of over 6,000 sqm. The design of the investment was prepared by Decorum3. The area for the construction was consolidated by Dimeg Bielańska, which also obtained construction permits and then transferred them to Portico. The center is planned to be put to use at the turn of this year and next year. ■

Budimex will be general contractor of Decathlon hypermarket with area of 10,000 sqm in Piaseczno. Budimex Dromex has been chosen as general contractor of the Decathlon sports hypermarket in Piaseczno near Warsaw. As we informed, the tender was carried out for the French chain by the Fibat engineering-consulting company.

The contract, worth over 30 mln PLN, will consist of the construction of a store with an area of almost 10,200 sqm and a cubature of over 67,000 meters3 and a multi-level garage (approx. 16,500 sqm). The works will be carried out on a 1.7-hectare lot on Energetyczna Street, according to a design prepared by AS Architekci. They should be completed in the spring of next year. ■

Świtalski&Synowie prepare construction of MiniPark with lease area of over 4,700 sqm in Lębork. Świtalski&Synowie is conducting advanced preparations for the construction of the MiniPark shopping center on Jana Pawła II Street in Lębork (Pomorskie Voivodship). Inside the outlet, with a lease area of over 4,700 sqm,
a Biedronka chain market and a gallery of shops and service points will be located. The investment will be completed with a parking lot for 186 automobiles. The complex will be put to use in the second quarter of next year. ■

Polimeni is interested in construction of shopping gallery on 6 hectares in Wągrowiec. Tomasz Pińkowski, a private entrepreneur from Wągrowiec (Wielkopolskie Voivodship), has applied to the local magistrate for changing the spatial development plan of the real estate located near the so-called Wschód housing estate, on 11 Listopada Street. According to the application, the over 6-hectare lot will be used for service-retail activity. The change is supposed to help obtain an investor interested in the construction of
a 3-story shopping-service gallery. Polimeni International has expressed preliminary interest in the investment in Wągrowiec. ■

PUIP Inwestor is preparing construction of ITM shopping center in Starogard Gdański. Dariusz Śliwiński from PUIP investment-project corporation is supervising administrative preparations and architectural works connected with the construction of an ITM shopping-service center in Starogard Gdański (Pomorskie Voivodship). The Krokus Company,
a dependent company of the company from Poznań, is currently obtaining environmental permits for developing the area on Zblewska Street. It will house an Intermarche and a Bricomarche outlet, each one with an area of approx. 2,000 sqm. Let us recall that we informed in PREM 420 of the purchase of a lot with an area of several hectares from Pakmet by ITM. ■

Caverion will build installations on premises of Agora shopping center in Bytom for ca. 27 mln PLN. Last week Erbud informed of having entrusted the Caverion Company with preparing works on the sanitary, ventillation, air-conditioning and appliance automatics installations at the construction site of the Agora shopping center (area of 57,000 sqm) in Bytom (Śląskie Voivodship). The contract, worth over 26.8 mln PLN will be completed by October 15 of next year. ■

ARAW will build complex of market halls with area of 6,000 sqm in Wrocław. Agency for the Development of the Wrocław Metropolis (ARAW) is preparing the construction of a complex of market halls with
a development area of 6,000 sqm, in the area of Swobodna, Nasypowa and Zielińskiego streets. The two-story outlets (ground floor and mezzanine) will house about 350 retail points. A study of the feasibility of the investment is being prepared now. The investment will be completed by 2010.

Let us recall that ARAW is planning the construction of a market hall with an area of 4,500 sqm on Namysłowska Street. ■

Construction of Tesco supermarket is being prepared in Karpacz. Jan Cołokidzi, the owner of the CBM Company from Bolesławiec, has applied to the City Council of Karpacz (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) for establishing the effects on the environment from the construction of a fuel station with a service-retail pavillion on Wielkopolska Street. According to our information, the works will include the construction of
a Tesco supermarket with an area of over 1,000 sqm. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Lampre will purchase 11 hectares for construction of production complex in Kutno. The Italian Lampre Company has declared intent to purchase 11 hectares of land in the Kutno sub-zone of the Łódź Special Economic Zone (ŁSSE). The company is planning to take part in the tender procedure organized by ŁSSE at the end of July. The company specializes in the production of sheet metal used for the production of household appliances. The enterprise in Kutno will include the construction of specialized technological lines in one hall. The complex will employ approx. 120 people. ■

Budimex will build Baumit production complex with area of 5,200 sqm in Pobiedziska near Poznań. According to PREM's unofficial information, Budimex Dromex has been chosen as general contractor of
a production complex of the Austrian Baumit Company, which will be built in Pobiedziska near Poznań. As we informed, the investment, designed by Witold Prętki's Architectural Workshop, will consist of the construction of two industrial halls with areas of 2,400 sqm and over 2,300 sqm and an office building (almost 500 sqm) as well as approx. 3.5 hectares of roads and storage areas. The enterprise, which will cost an estimated 70-80 mln PLN, will be completed in March of next year. ■

Swedwood will develop production complex in Wielbark by 5,000 sqm. Swedwood from IKEA's group is preparing the development of a production complex in Wielbark (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) by a ready-products warehouse. The hall will have an area of approx. 5,000 sqm. The investment will also include the construction of a heating fuel plant. Let us recall that the previous stage of the Swedwood complex in Wielbark, consisting of outlets with an area of 53,000 sqm, was carried out by Steel-Building. ■

AGG is preparing development of Bora production complex in Radomsko by 5,000 sqm. The Architekci Grupa Grabowski (AGG) workshop from Łódź has prepared the development of the E. Bora production complex in Radomsko (Łódzkie Voivodship). The enterprise will include the construction of an outlet with an area of 5,000 sqm and a cubature of 40,000 meters3. The investor is currently completing procedures connected to obtaining administrative permits from the local magistrate.

The previous stage of the project of the E. Bora Company, which cost over 15 mln PLN, was carried by the Joka Company from Tomaszów Mazowiecki. ■

SZI is seeking designer of hall with cubature of 50,000 meters3 in Warsaw-Okęcie. SZI (Capital Infrastructure Management) is conducting a tender procedure for the designer of an aircraft hangar at the Okęcie airport in Warsaw. The cubature of the planned outlet will reach approx. 50,000 meters3 and the area over 10,000 sqm. Bids with a tender deposit of 6,000 PLN are being accepted until August 12. Documentation should be completed within 8 months. ■

Domino has prepared design of new warehouse-logistics complex in Łysomice for PKP Cargo. The Domino workshop from Toruń has prepared a concept for the construction of a container terminal along with
a PKP Cargo logistics complex in Ostaszów near Łysomice (Pomorskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to build a warehouse hall with an area of over 3,000 sqm in the Pomorska Special Economic Zone on approx. 9.2 hectares. The investment will include maneuvering-loading ramps and sidetracks, storage and maneuvering areas for intermodal transport units. ■

KLG is preparing construction of production hall for almost 9 mln PLN in Bydgoszcz. The KLG Company is conducting administrative procedures connected with the construction of a production hall on Smoleńska Street in Bydgoszcz (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The project will include an outlet with machines for the production of injection moulding machines. The company also submitted applications for subsidizing the enterprise from EU funds. The cost of the investment is estimated at almost 9 mln PLN. ■

Voltex will build logistics center for approx. 6 mln PLN on 0.6 hectare of land near Kobierzyce. Last year the Voltex Company from Lubin purchased from the CMO Company a property located in Domasław near Kobierzyce (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The lot, with an area of 0.7 hectare, was purchased for over
1 mln PLN. The lot will be used for the construction of
a logistics center. The cost of the project will reach approx. 6 mln PLN, while over 1.4 mln PLN will be spent on stock replenishment. Voltex is planning to acquire funds for the investment from its market debut. The investment should be put to use at the end of 2011. ■

Pascal will build production hall in Gdańsk. The Pascal Company is conducting administrative preparations connected with the construction of a new production hall on Połęże Street in Gdańsk. The enterprise will include the construction of an outlet with a usable area of approx. 1,000 sqm. Works connected with the processing of metal will be carried out there. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

MoonStudio is designing office complex with area of approx. 40,000 sqm for Reinhold in Katowice. Katowice-based nsMoonStudio is working on the design of the Silesia Atrium office complex which Reinhold Polska is planning to build on Korfantego Street in Katowice. Documentation will include three outlets with a height of up to 14 stories and a total area of approx. 40,000 sqm, including approx. 30,000 sqm for lease. One of the office buildings (approx. 15,000 sqm of usable space, 11,000 sqm net space) is being designed now; the remaining two (approx. 10,000 and 15,000 sqm) are at the concept stage.

The entire complex will be built on a 1.8-hectare lot, purchased from the Metropolis Company. Let us recall that the construction of two of the first outlets, including approx. 11,000 sqm of space for lease, is in progress now. The designer is Biprowumet and the general contractor is Mostostal Warszawa. ■

APA Kuryłowicz & Associates will design office center with area of 18,000 sqm for GTC in Poznań. Globe Trade Centre has entrusted Kuryłowicz
& Associates with preparing the design of an office complex, planned on Głogowska Street in Poznań. According to preliminary assumptions, a complex with an area of approx. 18,000 sqm will be built there. Construction works are to begin next year. ■

Liebrecht & Wood will invest 80 mln PLN in construction together with BBI of 70,000 sqm complex in Warsaw. Liebrecht & Wood has been chosen as co-investor of
a retail-office complex planned on Unii Lubelskiej Square in Warsaw, in the location of the former Supersam. The company will spend at least 80 mln PLN on financing the project and will also serve as co-developer, together with BBI Development NFI.

As we informed, a letter of intent had earlier been signed with Bouygues, but it was never realized. However, cooperation with Kamar, which is part of the holding regarding general contracting, is still possible. Works on the construction of the complex, which will have an area of 70,000 sqm, designed by Kuryłowicz & Associates, will begin in approx. 1 year and will take until the turn of 2012 and 2013. ■

CF Plus is preparing construction of residential-office complex with area of 22,000 sqm in Łódź.
The De Nova workshop represented the Midas Company, a dependent company of CF Plus, is in administrative procedures connected with obtaining
a conditions of development (WZiZT) decision for land in the area of Piłsudskiego and Sobolowa Streets in Łódź. The planned enterprise will consist of the construction of a twenty-story office building with an area of approx. 12,000 sqm and an 11-story residential outlet (10,000 sqm) with 120 apartment units and
120 parking spaces.

The investment is currently at the concept stage, the dates of the completion of the detailed designs and of submitting applications for building permits have not been set yet. ■

Consortium of Marmar and Bouygues wants to build third stage of GPNT in Gdańsk. Seventeen bids have been submitted in a tender organized by the Pomorska Special Economic Zone for the construction of the third stage of the Gdańsk Park of Science-Technology. The lowest bid, with a gross price of over 80 mln PLN gross, was submitted by a consortium of Karmar and Bouygues Batiment International. Other entitites taking part in the tender procedure are: PORR (110.9 mln PLN), Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex (93.9 mln PLN), Allcon Budownictwo (87.7 mln PLN), Mirbud (83.6 mln PLN), Polimex Mostostal-Interbud-West (83.4 mln PLN), Mostostal Warszawa-Acciona (100.6 mln PLN), Skanska (93.9 mln PLN), Pol-Aqua-Vectra (93.9 mln PLN), Johns Sisk & Son - Budbaum (106.7 mln PLN), Hochtief (89.8 mln PLN), Budimex Dromex (93.7 mln PLN), Ars Komfort Serwis - Arskom - Bauhaus (103.6 mln PLN), Strabag (97.9 mln PLN), Doraco (89.8 mln PLN), B&W - Hydrobudowa 6 (156.1 mln PLN).

The investment will consist of the construction of two office outlets with a total area of over 20,000 sqm. The enterprise will be located on the premises of the former Gdańsk Printing Plant, between Trzy Lipy and Schuberta streets, at the Andrzeja Hakenbergera Roundabout. Documentation of the complex was prepared by GEL. ■

Verity Development is seeking contractor of office building with area of 10,700 sqm in Wrocław. Verity Development is conducting a procedure of choosing the general contractor of Verity Business Center at the junction of Legnicka and Lubińska streets in Wrocław. The enterprise, designed by APA Kuryłowicz
& Associates, will consist of the construction of
a 7-story outlet with shops and services located on the ground floors (1,200 sqm) and offices with a total usable area of 9,500 sqm located on the upper levels. The building will also house an underground garage for
198 automobiles. ■

Cecomm will design office building with area of approx. 10,000 sqm in Krakow for RZI. The Regional Infrastructure Managemment (RZI) in Krakow has chosen the offer of the Cecomm Company as the most advantageous one submitted in a tender procedure for designing the staff building in the military complex in Krakow-Pychowice. The usable area of the outlet, which will be used by 400 people, will reach approx. 8-10,000 sqm. Works on the documentation should be completed by June 30 of next year.

Perbo Projekt-ATLine, Ecores-Archibis-Semico2, Produs Military Projects Workshop and Tytan-Studio A also took part in the procedure. ■

Ciroko will build office building with total area of 9,200 sqm in Szczecin for 23.2 mln PLN.
A consortium of companies from Szczecin Ciroko and Fasada has won a tender procedure for the general contracting of the seat of the ZUS (Social Security Office) Inspectorate on Andre Citroena Street in Szczecin. As we informed earlier, the lowest bid, with
a gross price of 23 mln PLN, was submitted by Erbud, but it was rejected. Works on the construction of the 4-story office building with a total area of 9,200 sqm and a cubature of 35,500 meters3, designed by the Projbud Company, will take two years. ■

GM Architekci will design museum-office complex in Bydgoszcz for approx. 2.5 mln PLN. GM Architekci has won a contest for the development of a concept for the western section of the old market square (Stary Rynek) in Bydgoszcz. The company will receive a prize of 200,000 PLN and the order for preparing the design for approx. 2.5 mln PLN. The investment, which will cost 50 mln PLN, will consist of the construction of
a complex of outlets that will be used, for example, as
a new city hall, a museum and a city promotion gallery. ■

Home of Houses will design teaching outlet with area of 18,000 sqm in Poznań for over 0.5 mln PLN. Poznań University of Technology has chosen the bid submitted by Home of Houses in a tender procedure for preparing the design documentation of the Teaching Center of the Faculty of Chemical Technology on Berdychowo Street. Plans include the construction of
a building with an area of 18,000 sqm and a cubature of 90,000 meters3; the concept of which was prepared by the APPIA workshop from Poznań.

Design works, the value of which will reach 549,000 PLN gross, should be completed by October 15 of this year. ■

UKW is planning construction of teaching complex with area of 10,000 sqm in Bydgoszcz. Kazimierz Wielki University (UKW) is planning the construction of a Science, Technology and Life Science Center on Chodkiewicza Street in Bydgoszcz. The total area of the outlet will reach approx. 10,000 sqm and the cost of the project is estimated at 42 mln PLN. The design of the investment was prepared by the Innova Consulting workshop from Toruń. The university is currently waiting for a decision concerning a subsidy from EU funds for the investment. ■

Pas Projekt wants to design Książnica Podlaska for over 1.4 mln PLN. Eight bids have been submitted in
a tender procedure announced by the Voivodship Marshall's Office of the Podlaskie Voivodship for designing Książnica Podlaska in Białystok. The lowest bid, for over 1.41 mln PLN gross, was submitted by Pas Projekt Archi Studio from Nadarzyn. Other companies taking part in the procedure are: Budopol (1.46 mln PLN), OCSC (3.61 mln PLN), Ove Arup (3.855 mln PLN), PA Pańkowski (1.81 mln PLN), APA Gierałtowski (3.28 mln PLN), SATO (3.49 mln PLN) and Profil Białystok (1.84 mln PLN).

The cost of the enterprise will reach approx. 71 mln PLN, including almost 61 mln PLN which will come from EU subsidies. Documentation of the outlet, which will have an area of 16,000 sqm, will be prepared within 7 months. ■

Budus will build outlet of University of Economics in Wrocław with area of 8,200 sqm for 32.7 mln PLN. The University of Economics in Wrocław has entrusted the Budus Company from Katowice with a contract worth 32.7 mln PLN for the construction of the Lower Silesian Center for Scientific and Economic Information on Komandorska Street. The investment, designed by the Archimedia workshop from Poznań, will include the construction of two outlets with a total net area of 8,200 sqm and a cubature of 31,000 meters3. The substitute investor will be POI Bydgoszcz. The enterprise will be completed by August 1, 2011. ■

Lachman-Pabich will design teaching complex of Łódź University of Technology for over 0.5 mln PLN. Lachman-Pabich Architektura has won a procedure announced by Łódź University of Technology for designing a teaching-laboratory outlet of the Faculty of Mechanics at Łódź University of Technology. The value of the works will exceed 585,600 PLN gross. The enterprise, which will operate under the working name of “Factory of Engineers of the 21st Century”, between Żwirki, Radwańska and Żeromskiego streets, will consist of the construction of a 5-story building with an area of 8,000 sqm and a cubature of 52,000 meters3. The design should be prepared by November 10.

Other entities which took part in the procedure were: Pomianowska Wójcik Architekci, PPP Kanon, APA Via i Partnerzy, Lipski i Wujek, 3Dprojekt and Dresler Studio. ■

Complexbud has submitted most advantageous bid for reconstruction of IPiN outlets in Warsaw. The Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology (IPiN) has chosen the bid submitted by Complexbud (approx. 14 mln PLN gross) as the most advantageous one in a tender procedure for the development by 3,000 sqm of office space (cubature of 6,600 meters3) of the outlets of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology on Sobieskiego Street in Warsaw. Other entities which took part in the procedure were: Fadbet (with the highest bid - approx. 17 mln PLN), a consortium of Karmar and Bouygues, Budopol, Dorbud and Budimex-Dromex.

The works, being carried out on the basis of a design prepared by MPM Architekci are planned to be completed within 24 months. ■

DIM'84 Dom i Miasto will design Faculty of Journalism of University of Warsaw. The University of Warsaw has chosen a bid submitted by the DIM'84 Dom i Miasto workshop in a tender procedure for the design of a building of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Sciences of the University of Warsaw. The outlet, with an area of 5,000 sqm, will be located in the area delimited by the streets Bednarska, Dobra, Nowy Zjazd and Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie. The order should be completed within 26 months.

Other participants in the tender procedure were: Scott Wilson, Ozone, PA Czora i Czora, Bauren Piotr Renke, PA 1997, Archimedia, Kuryłowicz & Associates, Kontrapunkt V-Projekt, AiU Michał Lewiński, Neoinvest, Pas Projekt Archi Studio, UBM Polska, Płaskowicki & Partnerzy, AiB Warszawa, Budopol, PM Group and Dedeco. ■

Calbud wants 21.5 mln PLN for building sports-teaching complex with area of 6,600 sqm in Szczecin. Calbud has submitted the lowest bid, with a gross price of slightly over 21.5 mln PLN, in a tender procedure organized by the commune of Szczecin for the construction of a sports-teaching complex in the area of Złotowska and Jantarowa streets. The investment, designed by the Struktura workshop, will consist of the construction of a two-story school building and
a gymnasium with a total usable area of 6,600 sqm (37,700 meters3) and a complex of outdoor sports fields and courts. The works will take 16 months.

As we informed, the construction of an indoor swimming pool with an area of 2,400 sqm and
a cubature of 18,000 meters3 are planned in the second stage. ■

ZPSM is seeking contractor of teaching complex with area of 5,700 sqm. The M. Karłowicz Music Schools Complex (ZPSM) has announced a tender procedure for the general contracting of the second stage of the development of the school. The scope of the investment will include the construction of a three-segment outlet with a total usable area of 5,700 sqm and a cubature of 20,700 meters3 and a free-standing amphitheater with 240 seats. Bids with a tender deposit of 50,000 PLN are being accepted until July 31.

The value of the enterprise, the documentation of which will be prepared by the A4 Project Agency from Nowy Sącz, is estimated at 24 mln PLN, including
18 million PLN of which will be an EU subsidy. The investment should be completed within 30 months. ■

K2 Architectural Workshop will design PWSZ training center in Rogi for 732,000 PLN. The Public Vocational School in Gorzów Wielkopolski has chosen the bid submitted by the K2 Architectural Workshop for preparing the modernization design of the historic palace in Rogi (Lubuskie Voivodship). The value of the works will reach 732,000 PLN gross. The outlet, with an area of 3,100 sqm and a cubature of 12,300 meters3, is located on a 5.17-hectare lot and will serve as
a Conference-Training Center. The order should be completed within 7 months.

MLX 4 Architekci and Leszek Horodyski's Atelier also took part in the procedure. ■

ZSGS will rebuild teaching complex in Olsztyn for over 14 mln PLN. A complex of Gastronomy-Grocery Vocational Schools is conducting administrative preparations connected with plans for the development of a teaching complex on Żołnierska Street in Olsztyn (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The cost of the investment is estimated at over 3.1 mln euro (approx.
14 mln PLN). The works are aimed at adjusting the school to EU standards; therefore, the school is trying to obtain an EU subsidy for the investment. ■

Rebud will erect, for 7.8 million PLN, office building with cubature of 14,400 meters3 in Gniezno. Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane Rebud has won a tender for the construction of the seat for the District Starost's Office at 9/10 Jana Pawła II Street in Gniezno. Completion of the contract, worth 7.8 million PLN gross, is to take 18 months. The investment, designed by Poznań based Studio DNA, will comprise the construction of a 4-story office building with a cubature of 14,400 meters3, using the existing buildings (4,400 sqm). ■

Miastoprojekt will develop, for 226,000 PLN, documentation of education center in Białystok. Białystok based Miastoprojekt has made the lowest offer, with the price of 226,000 PLN gross, in a tender for the development of a functional concept and design for the Education and Formative Center for Generation JPII in Białystok. Abrys makes lowest offer for designing modernization of RZI building in Łódź. Twelve offers have been made in a tender issued by the District Infrastructure Management (RZI) in Bydgoszcz concerning the development of a modernization design of a building on Źródłowa St. in Łódź. The best offer, with the price of approx. 70,700 PLN gross, has been presented by the Abrys office. Other participants of the tender are Teccom (202,000 PLN), Art Projekt K&M (122,000 PLN), Biprokabel (124,000 PLN), Midos (122,000 PLN), Studio Projekt 2002 (237,000 PLN), SIRT (181,000 PLN), Complex (193,000 PLN), DeWM (73,200 PLN), Ferma Kresek (193,000 PLN), Pion (378,000 PLN) and Tech-Woj (221,000 PLN).

The investment will comprise the adaptation of

Rem-Bud I will build, for 6.5 million PLN, teaching building with area of 3,100 sqm in Tomaszowice.
The authorities of Jastków commune (Lubelskie Voivodship) have announced that Stalowa Wola based company Rem-Bud I has been chosen as the general contractor of a primary school along with a sports hall in Tomaszowice-Kolonia. The task comprises the construction of a 3-story building with a total area of 3,100 sqm and cubature of 14,000 meters3. The construction works, the value of which amounts to 6.5 million PLN gross, will be carried out by the middle of next year.

Another primary school in Lubelskie Voivodship will be built in Pasieki. Until the end of July, Tomaszów Lubelski Commune Office will be collecting offers with a deposit of 120,000 PLN concerning the realization of the investment. The school, with a usable area of 1,100 sqm and cubature of 6,400 meters3, is to be built by 30th August 2013. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Best Construction will build for DevelopRes 1st stage of 100,000-sqm residential complex in Rzeszów.
At the turn of the 1st and 2nd quarter of this year, DevelopRes began the realization of the 1st stage of Osiedle Zawiszy residential complex, in the area of Zawiszy, Podkarpacka and Boya-Żeleńskiego streets in Rzeszów (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The general contractor of the two buildings with 172 flats is Best Construction.

The design of the whole complex has been prepared by Krakow based office Forma-Projekt. It anticipates the construction, on the area of 8.5 hectares, of buildings with 1,500 flats with a total usable area of approx. 100,000 sqm, with an additional 10,000 sqm of shopping-service area. According to the investment's schedule, completion of the project is to take 5 years. Currently, the company has applied to the local municipality for administrative decisions for further stages of the works. ■

De Nova is preparing construction of residential building with usable area of 9,800 sqm in Łódź for CF Plus. Ewa Dąbrowska from De Nova office has acquired WZiZT (building development conditions) for a residential building on Pabianicka St. in Łódź. The investor is the company Midas, subordinate to CF Plus. The concept anticipates the construction of an 8-story building with a usable area of approx. 9,500 sqm and cubature of 40,000 meters3. The design has not been put into use yet and the investor hasn't applied for the construction permit. ■

TBS seeks contractor for residential complex with area of 8,600 sqm in Bydgoszcz. Until 11th August, Bydgoszcz based TBS (Social Building Association) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 500,000 PLN concerning the construction of a residential complex on gen. T. Bora-Komorowskiego Street. The construction of 3-story buildings with an area of 8,600 sqm and cubature of 33,600 meters3 is to be finalized in July 2011. Architectural documentation of the investment has been prepared by Piotr Ślotała's office from Chodzież. ■

A-Symetria prepares design of complex with 100 flats in Toruń for Bud-Tech. Bud-Tech has preliminarily scheduled the beginning of construction of a residential complex in the area of Traktorowa and Polna streets in Toruń for the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year. At the end of last year, the company purchased approx. 0.9 hectare of land for over 3.9 million PLN. Land plot development has been designed by Agata Kołodzińska from the A-Symetria office. The design anticipates the construction of five two-story buildings with approx. 100 flats, with a total residential area of approx. 5,000 sqm. Two of the buildings are going to have underground garages. The beginning of works will depend on the sales results of Bud-Tech flats on Broniewskiego Street. ■

Metropolis is preparing construction of 8,000-sqm “Awangarda” apartment complex in Chorzów. Metropolis has prepared architectural guidelines for an apartment complex in the area of Siemianowska and Łokietka streets in Chorzów (Śląskie Voivodship). According to the concept, prepared by the developer, two buildings, named “Apartamenty Awangarda”, with
a usable area of flats amounting to 4,000 sqm in each, will be erected on the developer's land plots (approx.
1.3 hectares in total). Metropolis is planning to find an investor for the realization of the investment. ■

Radex is preparing construction of residential complex on Śródziemnomorska St. in Warsaw. Radex Nieruchomości Corporation has initiated administrative proceedings concerning the plans for the construction of a residential complex in the Mokotów district of Warsaw. The investment, situated on Śródziemnomorska Street, will comprise the construction of a complex of multi-family buildings with underground garages and service premises on the ground floor. ■

Emerald issues tender for construction of “Apartamenty Legionów” building in Łódź. Until the end of August, Warsaw based company Emerald will be collecting offers for general contracting of the “Apartamenty Legionów” residential buildings on Legionów Street in Łódź. The 6-story building, designed by Łódź based office De Nova, will have 70 flats with
a usable area of 4,200 sqm. The works should begin in the 1st quarter of 2010. ■

Inwestprojekt Lublin will design residential complex with 60 flats in Biłgoraj. Inwestprojekt Lublin has won a tender for the development of design documentation for a multi-family building on Włosiankarska St. in Biłgoraj (Lubelskie Voivodship). The value of the contract, ordered by TBS (Social Building Association), will amount to 163,000 PLN gross. The investment will comprise the development of a land plot with an area of 4,800 sqm; a 4-story building with approx. 60 flats will be erected there. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

AGK Architekci is preparing construction of Ibis hotel with 140 beds in Sosnowiec for Orbis. Adam Walczak from AGK Architekci office is representing Orbis in administrative procedures concerning the plans for the construction of a hotel building on Kresowa Street in Sosnowiec (Śląskie Voivodship). The investment will be situated in the vicinity of the operating hotel Aria. The investment will comprise works on a seven-story, 22 meter tall building with an area of building development amounting to approx.
900 sqm. It will have beds for 144 guests. ■

Gromada is planning construction of four-star hotel in Elbląg. Elbląg City Office (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) is conducting proceedings concerning the issuance of a decision regarding environmental conditions for the construction of a four-star hotel at Słowiański Square. The investment, the investor of which is Hotel Gromada, will comprise the modernization of a 5-story building with an area of 10,600 sqm, with hotel rooms, conference center and SPA. ■

PRC Architekci prepares design of hotel with
58 rooms in Pasym for Kristensen Group.
PRC Architekci office has prepared, for Kristensen Group, a concept for the modernization of a historical mill in Pasym (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) for the purposes of a hotel center with SPA and conference facilities. The building will have 58 rooms. Currently the investor is holding negotiations with the potential operators of the center. According to the preliminary schedule, the works should be finalized within the next 2-3 years. ■

CKS Platon will extend hotel complex in Warsaw. Centrum Konferencyjno-Szkoleniowe Platon has submitted administrative applications to the Warsaw municipality concerning the planned extension of the hotel complex on Skalnicowa St. Currently, the center, situated on 2.5 hectares of land, includes 34 double rooms, 3 conference halls, a restaurant and a tent hall with an area of 800 sqm. Eventually the center is to have 330 four or five-star rooms. The investment is being carried out for the purposes of serving the participants of the Euro2012 championship. ■

WAM interested in construction of hotel complex based on Rothera mill in Bydgoszcz. According to unofficial sources, Military Housing Agency (WAM) is considering the possibility of creating a hotel for the NATO Joint Forces Training Center in the historical Rothera mill on Młyńska Island in Bydgoszcz. The building is owned by Nordic Development. Let us recall that the investor has been conducting talks with representatives of the Hilton chain concerning the opening of a 4-5-star hotel with 300 beds. The cost of the investment was estimated at 70 million PLN. ■

MLS will build hotel with 80 beds in Łukowe. Krakow based company MLS has applied to the Zagórz City and Commune Office (Podkarpackie Voivodship) for administrative consents regarding the plans for the construction of a hotel in Łukowe. The investment will comprise the extension of buildings of the former dairy cooperative and preparing them to serve 80 guests. The company has applied for a subsidy from EU funds for the realization of the investment. The cost of the investment is estimated at over 9.2 million PLN. ■

EC1 Łódź seeks contractors for cultural-art complex for 200 million PLN. EC1 Łódź-Miasto Kultury city enterprise has issued a tender for the design and adaptation of buildings at the eastern part of a thermal power station, situated on 30 hectares of land between Tuwima, Narutowicza, Sienkiewicza and Kopcińskiego streets, for cultural and art purposes. The task has been divided into two parts. The first tender, with a deposit of 800,000 PLN, concerns adaptation and extension of three buildings with a total cubature of 113,000 meters3. The second tender, with a deposit of 1.35 million PLN, concerns revitalizing the post-industrial buildings with an area of 11,900 sqm, construction of a new building (6,400 sqm) and development of 2.6 hectares of land. The complex will include a library, planetarium, studios and workshops, galleries, sound theater, seminar and conference rooms, as well as headquarters and offices of cultural institutions.

A feasibility study, along with the functional program for the investment, has been prepared by the consortium of companies Systra, Arep Ville and BBF, while Charly Möller's team from Germany has won a contest for the development of the architectural concept. The cost for the whole investment is estimated at approx. 200 million PLN. Applications concerning admission to both tenders can be submitted until 10th August. Contracting works are to be finalized by 30th September 2012.

The next stage of the investment will comprise the development of the western area of the thermal power station for the purposes of commercial investments. Spatial development plans for this area are currently being prepared. ■

Benedetti will carry out construction of Wejchert Golf Club near Warsaw, worth app. 22 million EUR. Preparations for the construction of the Wejchert Golf Club golf complex in Brześce in the Góra Kalwaria commune (Mazowieckie Voivodship) are at the stage of final earthworks. The investment will comprise the development of approx. 110 hectares of land for the purposes of a golf course with sports facilities (such as sports club, golf academy, SPA). The next stage will comprise the construction of a complex of 40 houses. The general contractor of the investment is going to be Benedetti, and architectural design has been prepared by Robert Trent Jones II. The investors have not revealed the cost of the works, but according to the commune authorities they have been evaluated at app. 22 million EUR. Works on the investment are to be finalized in 2010. ■

Zwarts en Jansma office has prepared concept for Ludowy football stadium in Sosnowiec. Last week, Dutch architectural office Zwarts & Jansma, along with the engineering company Bartels Polska, presented
a feasibility study for the new Ludowy Stadium in Sosnowiec, which is to be built in place of the structure on Kresowa Street, used by the Zagłębie sports club. The concept anticipates the construction of a complex with stands for 18,000 spectators and a sports-service complex with an area of approx. 5,000 sqm.

Talks will soon begin between the architects and the city authorities and representatives of the stadium's owner, City Sports and Recreation Center (MOSiR), in order to establish details of the project. The cost of the investment has been estimated at over 52 million EUR. ■

Consortium of Mostostal Warszawa wants to build 20,000-sqm aqua park in Olsztyn for 54 million PLN. The consortium with Mostostal Warszawa as leader has made the lowest offer, with the price of over 54 million PLN gross, in a tender for general contracting of Water Sports and Recreation Center on Piłsudskiego Av. in Olsztyn. The investment's budget amounts to
120 million PLN. As we have informed, the complex, designed by Rafał Jacaszek's office, will have an area of nearly 20,200 sqm. Its construction will take 2 years. ■

Budimex-Budopol consortium wins tender for construction of tourism-recreation center in Żagań. The consortium whose leader is Budimex Dromex and partner, Bydgoszcz based Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlano-Usługowe Budopol, has been chosen as general contractor of a recreation-hotel-sports complex on Kochanowskiego St. in Żagań (Lubuskie Voivodship). The offer amounted to over 23.4 million PLN gross. As we have informed, the price offered by EB Mitex was
a little lower.

The investment, the investor of which is Pałac Książęcy, will comprise the construction of a roofed swimming pool with SPA and social-office premises as well as modernization of the existing building for the purposes of a sports hotel with 10 rooms. The contract also includes modernization of stands and construction of a new one for 210 spectators. The works are to be finalized by 30th November of next year. ■

WSS seeks architect for hospital complex for
120 million PLN in Łódź. Mikołaj Kopernik Voivodship Specialist Hospital (WSS) in cooperation with SARP has issued a contest for the development of an architectural concept for revitalizing dr J. Korczak Pediatrics Center on Piłsudskiego Av. in Łódź. The investment, the value of which is estimated at 120 million PLN, will comprise modernization of 9 historical pavilions, which will host a pediatric hospital with approx. 120 beds. Applications concerning admission to tender are to be submitted by 22nd July, and the contest will be concluded on 21st September. Three winning architectural offices will take part in negotiations concerning the contract for the development of documentation for the investment. ■

Oława authorities seek contractor for roofed swimming pool with cubature of 29,700 meters3. Until 28th August, Oława City Office (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) will be collecting applications regarding the issuing of a concession for the construction of a roofed swimming pool in the area of 11-go Listopada and 1-go Maja streets in Oława. The investment will comprise the construction of a building with a net area of 4,600 sqm and cubature of 29,700 meters3. Documentation of the investment has been prepared by Warsaw based office KIPP Projekt. ■

Włocławek authorities seek contractor and investor of roofed swimming pool for 23 million PLN. The President of Włocławek (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) has issued a tender in the form of
a concession issue concerning the design and construction of a district roofed swimming pool on Szpitalna and Wysoka streets. The plans anticipate construction of a complex of pools with the main pool sized 25 x 12.5 m, with 400 sqm of water surface in total. The cost of the investment is estimated at
23 million PLN gross. Applications concerning admission to tender are to be submitted by 30th July. ■

Wrocław authorities seek contract engineer for construction of hospital with area of 35,000 sqm. Until 17th August, Marshal's Office of Dolnośląskie Voivodship will be collecting offers with a deposit of 50,000 PLN concerning the role of contract engineer for the construction of a hospital in Wrocław-Złotniki. The investment will comprise the construction of a 4-story complex with 550 beds, with an area of approx. 36,000 sqm, out of which 25,000 sqm will be taken up by the medical part and 11,000 sqm by an administrative and technical section. The cost of the investment is estimated at 300 million PLN. According to schedule, the investment should be finalized by 30th September 2012.

Skanska will build sports complex in Wrocław for 12.8 million PLN. The authorities of Dolnośląskie Voivodship have ordered a contract worth 12.8 million PLN gross to Skanska regarding the construction of
a sports complex in the area of the Maria Grzegorzewska School and Education Center for Blind Children on Kamiennogórska St. in Wrocław. Other candidates for the contract were Maxi Star (13.5 million PLN) and Gutowski (21.6 million PLN).

The investment will comprise the construction of
a complex with a usable area of 2,900 sqm, including
a sports hall and swimming pool, along with a complex of external sports grounds. The investment, designed by the Proexbud office, is to be finalized by 20th September of next year. ■

Śląskie Konsorcjum Ekologiczne will design sports complex in Prudnik for 110,000 PLN. Śląskie Konsorcjum Ekologiczne has made the lowest offer (110,000 PLN) in a tender, issued by the authorities of Prudnik commune (Opolskie Voivodship), concerning the development of a design for a sports complex on Podgórna Street. The investment, the cost of which is estimated at 13 million PLN gross, will comprise the construction of a sports hall with seats for 300 spectators and a roofed swimming pool. A land plot appropriated for building development has an area of 1.6 hectares. Development of documentation should take 9 months. ■

Eight companies compete for contract for construction of roofed swimming pool in Piła. Eight companies have applied for admission to tender, conducted in the form of negotiations with an announcement, concerning the choice of an architect and general contractor for a roofed swimming pool at the Sports Facilities Complex in the Górne residential district in Piła (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The candidates for the contract include: Mitex, Alstal Budownictwo, Gutowski and the local companies Spadochroniarz, Kwadrat and Pil Building. The plans anticipate the construction of a building with a main pool sized 25 x 16 m. ■

Sosnowiec authorities seek contractors for two sports halls with cubature of 25,000 meters3. The investment will comprise the construction of halls with

Nature University in Wrocław seeks architect and contractor for hotel-congress center. Until 22nd July, Nature University (Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy) in Wrocław will be collecting offers (no deposit) for the design and development of the Agricultural Congress Center on Pawłowicka St. in Wrocław. The investment will comprise the modernization of the building with area of 1,700 sqm and cubature of 7,900 meters3, which is a part of the palace and farm complex in Pawłowice. Skanska-NDI consortium sign contract for construction of section of A1 motorway for 3.15 billion PLN.
The consortium of Skanska-NDI has signed a contract with Gdansk Transport Company concerning the design and construction of a section of A1 motorway, connecting Czerniewice near Toruń with Nowe Marzy near Grudziądz. The contract, worth nearly 3.15 billion PLN, concerns the construction of 62 km of the road, including 65 engineering structures, 5 junctions and
4 pairs of travelers' service centers. Completion of the investment will take 3 years. ■

Skanska will extend Voivodship Road No. 94 between Bielany and Długołęka for 176.5 million PLN. Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei (Dolny Śląsk Roads and Railway Services) has ordered a contract worth 176.5 million PLN gross to Skanska concerning the construction of Voivodship Road No. 94 (DW 94) between Bielany and Długołęka. The contract includes the construction of 6 km of the road along with junctions, 3 bridges, 3 trestles and an overpass. The investment should be finalized by 31st January 2013. ■

Fair Wind will build wind farm in Nowogard area. The company Fair Wind, associated via capital and personnel with J.W. Construction, is planning the construction of a wind farm in the Nowogard commune (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investor has got approx. 2,500 hectares of land there and is planning to build over 100 turbines with the power of 2.3 MW each. ■

Szczecin Airport seeks contractor for modernization of airport infrastructure in Goleniów. Port Lotniczy Szczecin-Goleniów (Szczecin-Goleniów Airport) has issued a tender for the extension and modernization of airport infrastructure. Consortium with Bilfinger Berger wants to build ring road for Pruszcz Gdański for over 57.3 million PLN. Eight offers have been submitted in a tender for the contracting of the Pruszcz Gdański ring road, issued by the city authorities. The lowest offer has been made by the consortium with Bilfinger Berger as leader (over 56.5 million PLN gross). Other participants of the tender are: Budimex Dromex (64.5 million PLN gross). Zarząd Miejskich Inwestycji Drogowych (City Roads Investments Management) in Warsaw has ordered a contract worth 3.5 million PLN to Apia XXI concerning the development of documentation for the modernization of trestles of Łazienkowska Route on the Warszawski Junction and Praski Junction. Completion of the architectural works will take 18 months. ■

Consortium Planeta-PBDiM will carry out 1st stage of ring road for Ciechanów, worth 150 million PLN. The consortium of companies Planeta and Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Dróg i Mostów from Mińsk Mazowiecki has won a tender for the modernization of Armii Krajowej Street in Ciechanów (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The cost of the works will amount to over 15.5 million PLN. This is going to be the 1st stage of the construction of the internal city ring road, worth
150 million PLN, connecting national roads No. 50 and 60, voivodship roads No. 617 and 615 and seven district roads. The total length of the new connections will amount to 13.5 km. The design of the investment will be prepared by the consortium of companies OCSC and O'Connor Sutton Cronin & Associates Ltd. ■

VARIOUS NEWS

OAO has prepared design of processing complexes worth 141 mln euro in Russia for Centrozap. CentroWoodKom, a company whose shareholder is Centrozap from Katowice, has obtained permission for the construction of the first stage of a wood processing complex in Russia. The enterprise will include the construction, for 141 mln euro, of wood processing plants in the Republic of Komi. The works will be completed by 2012. The project will consist of the construction of a coniferous wood processing plant in Kebaniol (on 70 hectares) and a deciduous wood processing plant with a logistics base in Syktyfkar (on 16 hectares of land). The design of the investment was prepared by OAO Komigrazhdanprojekt with its seat in Syktyfkar. ■
